I am heading out, I have overtime realized NNG was close to but not quite the community for me. Still going to play PS 2 and many other games. I have no plans of any new outfit to be joining or a specific faction to play. I enjoy playing games with the the right people more so than the game itself.

For those wishing to keep in touch, *cough* guy who recruited me, here are some contacts to add.

    Skype: krunk829
    Steam: krunk829

Looking forward to Dayz Standalone and The Repopulation outside of dabbling inside PS 2.

P.S. Keep doing what you do.

Not fucking with me at every turn would probably be a good place to start. [IMG]

Anyway just to clear this up before I head out:

I'm here working with Krunk and Jaamaw to build NNG's PS2 division into something that has a chance at MLG in the future, and quite frankly I just do not want to continually have to put up with this regular stream of condescending shit I have to deal with from (some of) the administration of this community, who neither know me, nor play our game, over stuff that really should not be that big of a fucking deal.

    Peace~~~

I genuinely have no idea what you're talking about.

But hey, like you said, cheers.

If you would cite an example or two? I would greatly appreciate it. More specifically, who you're directing your message to.

He linked to a comment you made Ghostsheets as an example....

Wish you two would reconsider, pretty sure that last comment was in jest and not meant to be offensive.

Well you guys were pretty fun to fly with, and I just wanted to personally thank you for teaching me how. And I am sad to see you two go.

As far as what has been going on with the administration, saying to the administration "oh well you don't know me and you're being condescending" is totally not the case. I happen to think I have quite good relations with the majority of the NNG Administration (more specifically GhostSheets, Linchpinn, and Jaamaw) and then of course the two of you. But I can totally say, no one in NNG is condescending in anyway whatsoever. They may not know you sure, so they may handle things by what they see, over what you might know, but you don't know them either. And neither GhostSheets nor Linchpinn nor Jaamaw are condescending. NNG is very linear in this way. There is no "I am the leader and you are my officers and everyone else is below me!! HUEHUEHUEHUE!!" in this community. Everyone has the exact same amount of pull in what goes on. You have a problem? It gets handled. Only if it escliates waaay out of proportion is any severe action taken.

And as far as sarcastic comments go, if they don't know you, like you said, then you mustn't know them. Meaning if they make a comment that is clearly a joke. How else would you know? Of course besides the fact that a joke rebuttal... to a joke... is absolutely uncommon.

Probably got waaaay overly convoluted there but... yup.

Oh sorry. I thought that was a hyperlink but only tried clicking it when I was quoting/replying so apparently the link was inactive.

    But if this:

...was taken seriously by Selentic, then I am shocked. Does he honestly think a line about fantasies of girly men was directed at him with any sort of seriousness behind it? O_o Girly men? /facepalm
For someone who employs sarcasm in many of his posts it appears he does not have the capacity to be on the receiving end of it, nor decipher it.

Selentic has made plenty of condescending remarks to his fellow community members such as telling them that their posts are the most idiotic he's seen on the boards, or that their write-ups on various things are useless. So to then in return throw a "k bye" at us over such a silly line that I was OBVIOUSLY kidding about seems way far fetched.

I try not to, but do meddle in the PS2 section from time to time to stay up to date on the happenings. Other than that I really don't get involved. It's a game that personally doesn't satisfy me as much as some of the other games I play. Which is why I empowered Jaamaw with complete control over the entire thing. That being said I do like to know what's going on and do feel it's my responsibility to not monitor, but occasionally peruse posts that people make. Selentic has made his fair share of disparaging remarks along the way and we've dealt with those, asking him to knock it off. But it was never anything more than that.

So again, to act as if my one liner joke which was on the same level of sarcasm as his:

...somehow broke the camel's back and then to leave on the week that Jaamaw is attending SOE Live representing the PS2 house of NNG, seems very very selfish and ill-timed to me.

That is all I'm going to say on this.
