WT NNG Duels 2.0

Hey guys!
We have gotten a lot of great feedback about the last Duel Event and more people have expressed the interest of setting this up again.
I'm all for it.
Last time Waffles AKA LuftWaffleBot (epic name btw, I love it!) has done an outstanding job at putting it together and making it work.

Here is what we need from EVERYONE!

Day of the week and Time - when you can play
Willing to lead the event - Y/N
Willing to record or stream the event just for fun.
Thoughts and suggestions about how to set it up, what worked the last time and what didn't.

I don't want to see people recommending anything without signing up for the duels. I think we got enough cheerleaders as is.
If you're willing to participate or participated in the last one and want to add your 2 cents, please reply here and add your suggestions as well. Don't be shy, we want to make it fun for everybody and turn this into a weekly thing.

Going forward, we will be picking planes ahead of time and will also be discussing match ups. For example: BF109F4 vs Yak 7B. First team will fly Germans for 3 rounds, than switch planes and do the same, team with most victories wins! Something like that, once again this was just an example.

 

I don't know about the different planes idea as having the same plane really leaves it down to pilot skill and the ability of the pilot to play to that single planes strengths better than their opponent. Though I think the Saturday event day was a good time for me but not sure about everyone else.

 

I think every Saturday would be cool, Some good fights today, Thanks guys you know who you are.

Well to start this off, I'll just copy pasta your questions down here

Day of the week and Time - Saturdays are almost always good for me
Willing to lead the event - Nope, not my kind of thing
Willing to record or stream the event just for fun. - I can stream/record as long as no one minds the banter of JCST
Thoughts and suggestions about how to set it up, what worked the last time and what didn't. - I think that the same plane idea is a good one, it keeps the playing field level. I also think that having an equal spawn point, either ground or air spawns, helps keep it fun.

 

This looks a little out of my league...( I'm Level 12 with only tier 2 planes )...but it sounds like a lot of fun. Looking forward to joining when I am better skilled.

Level 2 planes are totally fine. What you guys are going to fly will be decided right before it starts so just let everyone know what you have available.
You're also welcome just to sit in the channel and listen to everyone or watch the stream is SeansBacon will be streaming.

I'm looking to turn this into a weekly thing that's why I would like to see everyone's input on time and date, so far SeansBacon was the only one who has replied in a proper format
