I love this idea and had a great time the one time i got to participate in a NNG dual, but at this moment i really can commit to anything. Once work leaves me alone, Diablo stops throwing mad loots at me and friends from the north quit stopping by for weeks at a time... i'll be all over this.

Day of the week and Time - Saturdays are normally good for me
Willing to lead the event - i would be fine leading, the night's i try to lead i'll likely not compete though.
Willing to record or stream the event just for fun. - have no idea how to.
Thoughts and suggestions about how to set it up, what worked the last time and what didn't - I like the same plane idea. I also think it would be fun to have best out of 3 where each team gets to pick the plane in one match then if we need a third match have a tie breaker plane for the evening.

    example:
    team 1 picks A6M2 for round 1
team 2 picks FW for round 2
round 3 tie breaker planes are Chaika's for the evening.

Well, I guess I'll sign up then...

Day of the week and Time - Saturday nights are good for me (usually)
Willing to lead the event - Umm...no.
Willing to record or stream the event just for fun - No to that one too...don't know how.
Thoughts and suggestions about how to set it up - I was not a member yet last time, and I guess I'm still not "officially" (no tag in TeamSpeak) a member yet. With that being said, it seems the fairest test in a duel would be a level playing field. Same planes and equal spawns makes sense. I am wondering about seeding. Will similarly skilled pilots be facing each other, or will novices be pitted against experts?

As I stated earlier, all I have is tier 2 planes so far. My skill level is novice at best...still learning how to maneuver and such. But hey, I'll take a bullet or twenty to get an education. ;)

    Off topic

The trial for new recruits usually lasts anywhere between 1-2 weeks while the application gets reviewed by our current members. The length of the trial depends upon your activity.
Good luck with the trial and the event :)

I'd be interested, but I must confess my ignorance at what the duels consist of......
Is it NNG vs NNG or NNG vs other squads ?
What is required to lead the event?
How much crap can one expect for being terrible? and the inverse-
How much can I crow when I stomp on EVERYBODY....yes, I typed 'when'.

OK those last 2 lines are BS, but the event sounds like fun.

    Its NNG vs NNG
To lead the event you'd need to speak with Highlander because he is willing to lead the next one this Saturday and participate in one just to get the feel for it.
We just started doing this to make things more exciting for our members so its still kinda rough around the edges, but with everyone's help we'll put together a set of rules or guidelines that everyone can follow.

As for being terrible, this is being done for fun and for practice at the same time. Flying with a wingman and helping each other out goes a long way, all it takes is practice so next time when you're in RB game with a wingman, you will know what to do.

Looks like me and Bacon may have a fight on our hands this time (just kidding). Hopefully we can get a big turnout!
