Not a private meeting, but the conversation on the site, in your Inbox. You voiced you part and we responded to you. I am just letting everyone know that I may have made it seem that it was unanimous to close it on the admin side but it was all but one.

We had an excellent run, and I see the same excellence beginning to happen in archeage.

I will continue to play planetside but not as passionately as I once had. Thanks to Jaam and the rest of you for taking in this rogue communist sniper and letting me try on the spandex

The pleasure was all our Mustarde both fighting with and against you. I do miss those tells " I see you" usually after I took a hit from nowhere.

I'm still playing.... And I feel vindicated in the opinion that I expressed 2 month ago that PS2 was on the brink. The officers decided to stop all organised activities; well, that's a way to throw the baby and the bath's water at the same time. But did the community as a whole abandonned PS2 ? Nope, No Sir, Nada, Pas pantoute !!!! While you were playing those blinking shiny new toys...herrrr ...games.... Some are still playing the lazy game 10,000 pts at a time.... All this reminds me of the turtle and the hare... You know who you are...

And thanks for playing with us. See you in BF 5 or COD XIX.....

Well, I guess I will be one of the few that will continue to play Planetside. I might give War Thunder a shot as well. Sorry guys but I just CAN'T get into asian grindfest MMO's. They aren't the kind of game that I enjoy (and this is coming from a big time EVE Online player).

As for the direction of PS2 as a game, I really don't know. It is kinda up in the air at the moment. Honestly, the developers that have left are the ones who I felt have been holding up a lot of the possible changes. Lets go through them:

    Margaret Krohn:
She was always known as the Vanu community manager. Besides being the one to keep everyone from charging the SOE offices with pitchforks and lighted torches, she was also the one who was supposed to take ideas and feedback to the developers. And I think she did a really poor job of it too. There were plenty of missed opportunities to do something cool and to give the VS a real niche besides plasma and spandex. However, I don't think that she had the leadership or the drive to really push through to the developers to say, "Hey, lets try this!" Instead, I think she just kinda went with the flow and left the VS with that nice lackluster sheen that it started the game with. Its why we have a limp noodle for a MBT cannon, a Saron that went from being AWESOME to "kinda awesome", a near useless HA weapon that is only really good at spamming chokepoints instead of being useful in multiple situations, and the flashlight as being our best empire specific pistol. All this I lay at Ms. Krohns feet as she was the one who identified herself as working primarily on VS from day one and wanted to bring in cool and different things for the VS... but didn't...

    TRay:
Great personality and an overall good guy. But he never broke out of his shell. All of his stuff looks like the same copy-pasta that has always been released with maybe a small tweak here or there (seriously, go watch some of his old live streams). I really think there are plenty of other talented people who could replace him and maybe "freshen up" the current lineup of vehicles/weapons/etc.

    Malorn:
I think this is probably the one big loss to the group. Malorn was REALLY good at terrain and base design. You can tell which bases he designed as they seem to flow a lot better than some of the others. There is less spam and less zerg and a better "feel" to the fight. Going to be the one guy hard to replace.

So I honestly hope that when new blood gets brought into the project, they say, "Hey, why hasn't this been looked at." Or, "Hey, I got a really need design for this." But I honestly don't know. I'll stick around and see what happens. Maybe you guys will pick up another game soon enough that I will actually be interested in enough to pull me away from planetside. You all are a good bunch of people and it's not going to be fun playing zergling again but just with an NNG tag.

Playing with the PS2 division has been an absolute blast, and I aim to stick around, though I probably won't be playing as much Planetside. Unfortunately, ArcheAge just isn't the type of game that appeals to me, but I'm looking forward to future games with NNG. Thanks again for making my time with PS2 infinitely more enjoyable.

Sorry but I think I will part ways with the NNG community. I have absolutely zero interest in ArcheAge or whatever game of the month you all decide to latch on to. The community has just become too fragmented and cliquey. The only people from NNG I even talk to anymore are Sith and Sean who I play CS:GO with. I also got a full time job so I will barely have time to even play games in the first place. All my remaining time will be devoted to CS:GO.

Oh well it was fun while it lasted. gg.

@Jaamaw why is it that you have 'liked' @gregfox reply, but not @Laggins.

Why the fuck would you even ask that question?

Do you honestly think that Jaam is wanting and enjoying that people are leaving, that it was some master 3 year plan to destroy NNG or some shit? OF course He doesn't like that people are leaving. I can't believe that you would say something like that.
