VS is no longer fun

Actually Zeo youre quite wrong, I am noticing more and more that since TE quit, for some reason the balance is leveling out. the TR owned Indar and Esamir last night, while we held Amerish. Populations were all within 4-5% of each other and the battles were pretty epic.
After our little Sundy ops group took a break I ran with Ragequit and had a blast, we fought the NC all the way up to and took Mani bio lab, then we took the surrounding territories, this is when the NC took to fighting back hard.... They pushed us all the way back into Mani taking 2 of the 3 points a few times until it became a huge Bio Farm. TR has been pushing harder and harder and have been a lot more tactical and less zergy.
I understand your frustrations but if anything they are a few weeks too late.

 

Play on the TR side and tell me I am wrong. When I play TR I fight NC, and visa-versa. Because when we fight Vanu, It is a matter of time before we face the mindless fourth factioner's, and the unstoppable zerg. VS is like just a larger version of the Enclave as they were in January. (with less racism) Also a 5% advantage during prime time is hundreds of people.

 

I do play TR sometimes, and I do believe you are wrong, Im seeing the trend start to sway back to normalcy. Its your call though.

 

Time of day is also important to consider. Not to mention I suspect a large number of VS afk in the warpgate at times, so continent pops are skewed or are flat out wrong.

Mind you, I can't exactly go around proving that they're just sitting there for no reason.

 

I have alts on all 3 factions but my main will always be my VS. I agree with Ajax, the pops do seem to be leveling out and I think the VS overpop is on the decline. IMO If you want to place NC or TR that's obviously your choice but NNG as whole should be VS. Have fun on your alt, I'll be looking forward to fighting you.

On another slightly off topic note. If you are playing an ALT our current TS rules dictate that you play in a separate channel from the VS group. Please remember this as I hate it when people don't follow our TS guidelines.

 

Last night when I logged in around 5pm pacific VS had nearly 20% more pop than the TR. TS seemed casual so I asked "What the hell is going on with the population imbalance?" Its very discouraging and all night I felt bad killing our enemies. The one thing that would get me to quit this game would be getting zerged over and over.

I'd love to know WTF is going on and why are people choosing to play VS? The TR seem better geared to me, better maxes, ETFs and better guns. From what I can see, the imbalance started just before ZOE and has gotten worse. I don't see it getting better but I'm glad to hear some of you guys do.

That said, I've spent too much money on the VS to leave it. No way am I gearing up another toon. I love NNG but if, for some reason it changes factions, I wont be following.

 

I believe we are just the flavor of the month. We never have been this before so we're in this weird new world of being the popular faction. They are all just jealous of our Vanu purp style I guess.

 

Funny you should mention that.. When I left NC for VS the reasons were as follows (not order specific):

- dark color, hard to see at night
- lower recoil weapons
- Sythe has unobstructive wind shield (I fantasized about being a good pilot) and I thought it was a smaller target
- Mag rider

 

I think I've found my new favorite weapon in this game. This is a new record for me:

 

The cyclone tears people up and its accurate as all get out.

I was playing on NC earlier this morning before doing some work and I forgot how much I liked the NC weapons.
