Balance wise, pulling 2 lightnings is always better than pulling 1 MBT. However, I don't think anyone will pull them except to use as Taxis because an ESF does the same job, better. It has way more maneuverability than Liberators or Galaxies, so ESFs are good ATA, and then they have rocket pods, which makes A2G also viable. Short and sweet, this would become the flash of the air, not the lightning like you said.
Let's answer a very important question here. You mentioned it acting like a lightning, so..... can I park a magrider on it?
Can a scythe have safe ejection while moving? If this aircraft did I'd use it for transport I could use it to reach an area in battle quickly and safely deploy if there was no spawns available. I've been killed a few times exiting a scythe because they can be unsafe to deploy from.
Personally I'd rather see a stealth transport first. A 4 man 1 weapon air transport that can stealth like infil or wraith flash, or something. This is a cool thought, but... I don't really see a place for it, honestly.
I like the Idea, but I just dropped 500 certs into Scyth ejection seats for my taxi service. There was talk about changing afterburner fuel pods, making them certable. So players would/could cert into fuel pods so they would last longer.
Costs you 500 certs to get and takes up one of your slots (utility I think). If I need to use it as a 'drop out of your Scythe on 400+m' taxi, I usually go Light Assault (Jetpacks break your speed good enough). I think it's a waste of resources though...
This vehicle will be a cheaper alternative for that use. Flares are a must, as 1 lock on and it dies.
