Weapons Question

Hey guys

I've come into a situation where I can spend a little money (finally) on SC.. I'm looking at one of the bundles, particularly, the Infantry Options Bundle at

I wouldn't get that one, ghost is useless, medic gun I don't know about, the pulsar is cheaper with certs. That being said manticore is good and the vx 67 is amazing,

 

Save SC for camo, especially snow camo, then green camo, then tan camo. The harder you are to see, the less you will be killed.
Right now I feel if you really want a new weapon and in no way can save your certs to get one, Go with the Sirius SMG. You can use it on all classes (Except MAX), its good in short to mid range (90% of all engagements), and has plenty of ammo. Other wise, save your certs, and ALWAYS test weapons out in the VR before you purchase them!
Also think about membership, the perks are nice and will help you get certs faster. More certs, more weapons, more fun!

 

Sirius SMG excels in close quarters, once you start going for distance the cone of fire is erratic (my personal experience) but the VX6-7 is probably the best all around for both close up and distance.
I like the Solstice SF for bio lab fights, it hits hard enough and performs very well, but as a light assault on the roof shooting down, the under barrel grenade launcher is a godly must.
Make sure you cert into a scope, ammo and grips/laser pointers as well which will improve the performance of the weapon as well. Stock the weapons are good, put Hi velocity ammo, an advanced laser sight, and things to that nature on the weapon and you have got yourself a killing machine

 

Get NS-11C and SVA-88, Commissioner for ur pistol.
Don't buy any bundles.
If you want a great SMG, get NS7-PDW.

 

Best infiltrator weapons. Eridani and parallax, you can get sirius but i don't like it for medium/long range and it is very hard to compensante due his up, left and right recoil not to mention that it drops damage very quickly. Btw don't use smg for medium/long distance. They suck.
Best LA and Engineer weapons. VX6-7
Best Medic weapon. Pulsar VS1.
Best HA weapon. Pulsar LSW. Annihilator and Decimator
Best pistol: I like manticore. The new pistols are good too. Underboss and commissioner.
AIMAX I like cosmos.
AAMAX bursters, it is a no brainer.
AVMAX kinda cloudy here, IMHO both vs weapons sucks alot. I guess comet is a litte bit better than vortex. Don't listen to me in this one.
My source? Guides on youtube and my personal experience using it. And the well know google spreasheet with all weapons data.
Allmost all weapons I said here have:
-A manageable recoil (all of them go up and right making easy to you compensante).
-The first shot does not "kick" so much helping compensating.
-They have one of the best fast/slow reload time.
-They have one of the best rate of fire.

All this info, glued together make my list be almost the best weapons you can get for each class in the game. IMHO.

Remember:

 

SVA-88 is the best HA weapon in the game, take a look at all the add ons. It's a direct upgrade from Pulsar LSW.
Try using both and you will feel the difference. I've been using Pulsar since release because I loved it back in beta but Vonic showed me the way! After I switched, never looked back.
PDW is the best CQC SMG and it's way better at range too so all around its way better than the other two.

 

Because the relativity of everything I wrote. At the end. I said "...IMHO...".

My fist shop at planetside 2 was the SVA-88.
But after i tryied the pulsar LSW i felt much more effective.
I will take another look at SVA-88.

 

SVA-88 and Pulsar LSW have almost the same stats, just few differences and they are very very close.
The addons kinda favor the SVA-88 like the compensator and the HVA.
I will give it a try, despite the recoil up, right and left that I find hard to compensate. But looks like they haven't a huge recoil factor, making it easy to stay on target.

PS: Looks like the fist shot has a lower recoil in the SVA-88 and the movement modifier for the SVA-88 is 0.75x against 0.50 for the LSW.(This is a dealbreaker IMHO).
