I would like everyone to share some nice information about themselves as a player on this thread, in terms of progress made in PS2 skill.

    For Example:
This graph is from 9/2/13- it shows my K/D from back in feb (1.8) going up to where it is now (just above 4).

Over time I have become much more able to lead AND perform in battle. It took a long time, and as you can see, it was not all at once.

If you guys have other success stories to share, please put them here :)

I don't have the stats readily available at work, but I am not a patient player when it comes to attacking. I would be the "bullet sponge" if you will so others can get to the objective. I have learned to not to be so direct in my playing style and my stats went from .88 to 1.3 k/d. For me that is a huge improvement. I owe it to NNG and ideas from Husla. It makes for good communication when someone who has figured it out gives you tips. Thanks guys

I am SOOOO happy to see this man. I am glad that your K/D has skyrocketed because of small adjustments. Keep it going and you will be like a true highlander... the only man left on the battlefield :P

i used to have really low k/d when i first started playing. but i just kept practicing to be a better player.it was a hard playing as a infiltrator at first for me. couldn't kill nothing moving. but practice does make perfect. took me a while to get higher than 1.0 k/d but i made it. now im at 1.3 k/d and having much more fun being in a outfit. whole new experince[IMG]

Yeah, same kind of story for me. For a while after release I was running at something horrid, like a .7 k/d or therabouts. But hey, I was playing a medic, so it's fine. Still playing medic, but thanks in large part to everyone who actually knows what they're doing giving advice, I've fought up above a 1 k/d.

I'm still a rubbish combatant, but hey, rezzes!

    Might as well show mine:

I play mostly as a heavy, but lately I've been switching it up to light assault, and have been having a lot of fun pulling off ninja attacks with C4 , and while I know I have a lot to learn, the trick is to keep incrementally improving, adjust small things until they become second nature, don't try to radically change playstyles overnight. I find myself having to unlearn a lot of bad habits I've picked up from other, more forgiving shooters.

Planetside was the first shooter I had gotten into in a long time, so when I started playing I pretty much had to learn how to FPS again. Coupled with the fact that I had a PoS computer, my KD was utter shit for the first few months of play (like .3). Since the computer build and a lot of learning, I end most nights with around a 2 something KD.

I'm quite sure that if I did not play with this outfit I would not have improved nearly as much as I have. Most everything I've learned in the game has come from watching or talking with people in NNG.

Well I don't have a fancy graph to show my overall progress with NNG.
    I can say this though....
When I joined I was strictly a sniping infiltrator, somewhere around lvl 20ish. I wouldn't deviate from that class, and for that my overall score and K/D suffered.
I joined NNG and found versatility, especially when I figured out the LA class. At first I SUCKED at it, I was downright awful. Over time I played more and more, I learned tricks from other members of NNG, and now my K/D went from around .9 to a 1.91 and climbing. I've auraxium medaled all the Carbines and Smg's the LA can use including 1 shotgun as well. Ive learned to play the HA class a lot better as well now also, Im averaging over 300 spm on both classes now, and am steadily growing my scored higher and higher.
What I learned and how NNG handled me has definitely improved my gameplay, and improved gameplay gives back to NNG in recognition that we are amongst the best on our server.
Thanks everyone who is and was a member of NNG, your shared knowledge has helped shape everyone in NNG into what it is today... Feared and Respected !
