Is that even possible in War Thunder?

What I don't get is when he was about to stall, why wasn't the German shooting at him?

bad animation? not sue if the German had the angle. I have tried the slip before with the Spitfire it will slide but not to that extreme. It looks like a yaw rotaion( is that even possible?)?

So I turn on HBO and Red Tails was on so I decided to watch it for a bit. Saw bits and pieces of that movie before but been missing on the actual flying parts. About 30min in these guys engage in a dogfight and they showed a German pilot do that same move and about 1 hour in the American fighter did it too.
I'm try to do it in a test flight in a bit, we'll see how it works.

Last night I was flying with Phaedo and he was freaking out when he watched a Spitfire do it in Arcade. I couldn't believe it but I know that Phaedo wouldn't just talk out of his ass so I did some research this morning and it looks legit. Now making it happen in the air is a whole new thing.

I've seen p-63s do shit like that before. Tenuis has done it. But it wasnt on purpose. His bird was wounded & he was RTB. Then he did this flip that looked just like the maneuver in that vid. I remember he said he was going to figure out how it happened so he could do it on purpose in battle, but I dont know if he ever did or not.

Here is another video that will help you shake off your tail.
Nothing fancy, just well played and you can clearly tell that this guy knows his shit and that he did what he did exactly how he wanted it to be done.

I'm still learning FRB and I still suck at it but I would love to see more people get involved and take it to the next level.

will help you get started. It will explain to you what's needed to get started and get you off the ground. It has helped me a lot.

I honestly thought it was a bug with the Kingcobras to be honest lol. Probably wouldnt work in FRB due to the fact I used hard rudder, which wouldn't work in that manner realistically. The rudder would rip off I believe. But iirc I just used hard left rudder when I was rolling left as well. Almost put me into a flat spin, guess thats why I still think it could be a bug... idk. I'm just another noob XD

That is a VERY VERY interesting version of a Immelan style turn I think. I would guess you would have to be at a semi low speed, go into a Immelan turn and kick the rudder hard as you can while dropping the throttle to zero. I may try it in a free flight after the patch and see. I wonder what Version of the Spit he was flying ?

MKII i think. I can do it in a a Russian Ishtak( spelling) but not every time. It has to be around 3000 feet altitude, not sure why seems to work better around the 2k to 3k range. Running approximately 275mph to 325. I bank drop the throttle and hard on the rudder back on the throttle for a burst and I'm almost linear with the plane behind me for a very short time. Then the rudder readjusts and almost flat spin. I will repeat NOT EVERY TIME this seems to get me in more trouble in a dog fight whereas most of your energy is lost.
