slowride was talking about a way to bind keys in TS that only broadcast to a certain group of people or something? I'm going to link him to this convo to see if he can fill us in.

The thing slowride was talking about is a squad leader plugin that allows all the leaders to communicate with a set hotkey to make TS easier to use and less of us all trying to talk over eachother.

1stVirus, I was talking about Whisper System.

Anyways we could create 4 squad channels, "Squad 1" / "Squad 2" / "Squad 3" / "Squad 4". The reason for using the names instead of bravo charlie, etc, is because we already use those for different capture points. So for short, "S1, we have a tank at Echo" Now personally I think Ghost, needs to go through the group and find our special talents. After finding them assign them a permanent position and Squad. Only for battles, or tactical gaming on the Main Servers. This way we can still use different classes until a lot of us get online then we can start going by our class, and squad. Alright so we need 4 channels in teamspeak, as named above. So you would join the channel of your squad when we start to play. The squad leader, which needs to be appointed by Ghost/ or by voting, I would help setup them a whisper system so when they press a "Hotkey" it talks to the following channels, S1, S2, S3, and S4. This way when a player in a squad calls out a tank location, or important information, The squad leader could relay the information to all squads. This would keep everything very organized. I can help with setting up this and getting all channels configured to have high voice quality so that everything is easy to hear and clear. To help with the names we can set preset tags in teamspeak. For instance Ghost has the Server Admin Tag, I can create tags very similar to that but instead of having admin rights they have normal user rights, and they are called Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon. This way we can permanently keep up with who is who on teamspeak and what there normal job is in a clan battle, ect. Also, I can setup so that appointed Squad Leaders, have Priority Speaker. Which means when they talk in a squad channel it is a little bit higher then everyone else this makes it easier to hear something important from them.

This is my personal teamspeak that I have recreated to look similar to NNG's teamspeak.

This is a snap shot, of my suggestion of the way we setup teamspeak. This involes removing the RU and US, channels since we do not switch channels when we get rotated, because you have to Alt Tab, and it is usless.

This snapshot shows my ranks, Assault, Engineer, Recon, and Support. Each member of NNG would be given one of these tags, that would show there assigned class for battles and tactical games. As well as the S1, which is assigned by a teamspeak administrator, after assigning this they are automatically given the [S1] in front of there name.
This snapshot is showing how simple it is to add a rank to someone, you simply "Right Click" there name, select "Set Server Group" then pick the ranks, you can see that in this photo, I have selected all the class ranks, and S1. This can be used by administrators, to set the ranks for NNG members. This could also be used to make a NNG preset tag, like in the Game Servers where you are given [NNG] Slowride326, we could setup teamspeak so that if you are a NNG member, and a Administrator gives you NNG rank then you will get the
    [NNG] YOURNAME.

    Thanks.

Great work slow!!! This looks excellent. Appears you have a lot more TS knowledge than the rest of us so I'd like to put you in charge of running with this. I'm going to give you Admin abilities on the server right now.

Do what you see fit and just keep filling us in.

Maybe Thursday night we can do a trial run with some tactical action to see how it all works out.
