Brand new NOOB to train! :)

    Been playing off and on for about a month. Sticking with keyboard/mouse for the moment (just trying to learn one thing at a time) but I do have stick/throttle/pedels/trackIR.

    Been a Flight instructor for years but that doesn't mean much in a sim game so expect I will fly like a rookie. I prefer teamwork over winning (but obviously lets win as well) and would like to play/learn about formations and tactics. I find myself mostly med altitude looking for my boys to be in trouble so I can dive in and cover their tails either by letting off a few rounds to have bandit break off or taking a few chunks outta his plane on the pass to then set up to help again. It would be nice to have others do the same for me.

    Many said this group was fun so all your reviews lead me here. I will need a few helpful pointers where to start:
    1) how do we join in the same game...things of this nature.
    2) how do we talk to each other...things of this nature.
    3) help will plane/pilot attributes...things of this nature.

    I am still in bi-planes in half the nations and finally got up to hellcat in US. FYI

    EDIT: forgot to mention...I am in California (GMT -8:00)

    Welcome to our forums bud!

    Just spend as much time as you can in TS while gaming and we'll do whatever we can to get you off the ground.
    Let me know when you're ready for some Sim Battles, we fly those a lot and gotta pretty solid group of people. Our teamwork comes down to watching each other's six. Its pretty amazing how one simple thing like that changes everything :)

    If you need Team Speak, go to the forums main page upper right hand corner and click on the team speak icon, It will allow you down load the client and connect you to us.

    O...wow. That was quick.

    Well now I know what "TS" is. Don't need to ask that question. Downloaded, found server, heard a few talking...next is how to join a game with the people in group?

    Got a chance to talk to Giggles on TS. The guys in Arcade seem to be working with him for a proper welcome.
