Was trying to install the hangar module and got this error:

    "Please resolve the following:

A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine."

So, my pc is too up to date to play star citizen? Wut?

Gives me no option and continue button is greyed out. Anybody else have this problem?

Update. Some things I learned, I think. I haven't seen stuff to prove otherwise but from my first night with the hangar module anything can change from one launch of the program to another.

Even on low settings, the hangar module demands that it has anti-aliasing 2x super-sampling. If you do not give in to it's demands it will pout and crash.
So on a low end computer where you might disable AA in other games you will have to do it for this because it won't run otherwise. I tested this by changing settings off and turning them on one by one in nvidia control panel and once I enabled 2x AA the game would run again.

Secondly, if you have too low a frame rate, you're going to have a bad time.
By which I mean, you cannot ride the elevators. This is based off some forum threads at RSI. And although my thing doesn't chug it is definitely slow, eg. jumping has a small delay, a big enough fraction of a second to notice.
This causes you to lag behind the moving elevator and fall through the floor leaving you stuck inside the bottom area.
Other things that might be due to low framerate were certain actions speeding up and getting clunky. In the avenger, the doors to and from the access way would spin the locks quickly and open almost instantly and then would not smoothly show the movement as you move into it or out. So getting into the seat doesn't leave much to see between leaving the access way and having the seat in the forward position.

Some extra things I noticed in the hangar, I could sit in the gun in the hangar and targets would move but I could not shoot or anything. Just get in the seat or get out. Also with the avenger, there was no option to extend the built in stairs to get in. Has this been taken out so they can re-design them? I also couldn't use the bed in the access way, not sure if this is interact-able or not yet.

Im not sure if you did this, but you have to equip the gun turret with a weapon from your inventory. Either your ships weapons or weapons you purchased from the site will work. I have yet to see the retractable ladder working in a hangar vid. The only beds Ive seen that are useable are in the Constellation. Quick movements do have either stutters or a lot of blur for me.

Apparently I don't have any weapons unlocked that can work with the gun turret. Guess it was a dev vid I saw where there was a ladder on the avenger. I thought the aurora or 300i had beds as I saw vids where you could look into space as you lay in them.

Had to change my settings again to get it to launch today. Hopefully when I get a desktop it'll run on that. Should be a better pc at least.
