I need to buy a bigger mousepad, or more mouse pads to go lower sensitivity. Hard to find a cheap large mousepad online, cost about 5 times more than a regular one

This is true. I went with a Warpad X for more comfort... Then I somehow lost it when I dismantled my computer last year.

I also found that when I switched from the default 0.5 sens to .20 sens in PS2, I found that I could hit more stuff. I still can't kill people fast enough (all the assists I could want!), but I'm usually up long enough to ensure that I kill at least one person before I die now.

I have one of those mice with 3 DPI settings, with 3 bars for high medium and low

I usually use medium for standard play, and bump it down to low when trying to precision aim a basilisk turret at a faraway target, and bump it to high for magrider steering so I can steer more quickly.

I've been playing CS:GO a lot lately and aim practicing almost every day. I'm treating it like a workout plan. Target practice, moving bots, aim maps, deathmatch, all that stuff. My crosshair placement is still pretty horrid sometimes so that's something I still have to work on. I'm trying to get better at preaiming. It's when you set up your crosshair so when you strafe out of a corner, it will be aimed at a predetermined point and all you have to do is click. It's REALLY hard though, this is a skill which will take a long time to master and it requires a lot of map knowledge. You can either peek the corner first to help you line it up, or just try to guess. Peeking first completely blows your cover though, so it's best to just yolo guess and try to flick shot if your aim is off.

1:13 in this video, best shot I've ever made pretty much. I preaimed right at the head level of that box without really thinking about it. In CS:GO if you're even moving a tiny bit your shots go everywhere, but if you stop moving or change directions at the moment you shoot it's accurate for a split second. In this case I started running backwards to counteract my forward movement at the instant I took a shot. I was pretty shocked I got this kill. Not sure if it was blind luck or pure reflexes really. I wasn't really conscious of what I was doing, I just clicked and got the kill. (always the best kind)

I feel the same when I hit a guy with my orion at 50 m and get the kill. Even better when it's a headshot :D
