Guild Wars 2

Anyone played this?

I used to play this rather liberally back when it came out... Until fractals came. Yeah, I wasn't caring much at this point. I was mostly an explorer, although I have done some WvW and PvP on the side. I always enjoyed exploring all over the place and enjoying the awesome views.

With the announcement of the expansion coming out, I'm only waiting for more information and how much they're going to put out for the new expansion.



Huh, once they announce a date, I'll probably have to wait for more information if it has to fight between FFXIV's Heavensward and this.

 

GW2 has the best set up for PVP/Battlegrounds.
No annoying gear grind, no gear advantages, just skill, coordination and teamwork. I just wish more people were playing that game, especially the ranked BGs.

 

I completely agree, Nraged. Back then I used to love playing PvP. It was completely even and all my gear is completely for glamour.

Because of how it was set up, I was actually considering to go competitive too, but I didn't know enough friends on my server who enjoyed PvP as much as I did.

 

I also love the idea of how you can reroll your class for pvp. Get to level 2, click on the pvp portal and you're done

 

Oh yeah, I know. xD

I recently came back and I'm struggling to figure out a good build for both my Guardian and my Mesmer. I'll think of something though.

I might roll some time later tonight once I'm done most of my work today and done my dailies in FFXIV.

 

I've recently picked this up and am really enjoying it! Not played any PvP yet but it sounds like the way they have it set up is good

The main things I love about this game, 1. The area questing system, 2. The minimalistic approach to spells/actions, and 3. It actually distincts between being on ground and under water, of course I can't use my bow under water, but I CAN use this harpoon gun :P

I'm on Stormbluff Isle.

If I recall, the game has merged into a "mega" server where all pve instances are the same, so we can all join in the same map. Our servers only make a difference when we PvP or WvW.

However, if people are on EU servers and some of us are on US servers, we're out of luck.

 

Sounds good I'm on EU, where is anyone else? My main character is called Ariana Snowstorm if anyone wants to add me
