Bah. Now I have to actually uninstall it.

 

Yeah I saw that this morning, kinda shitty since they seemed to be pretty okay with it during the beta. However I was having one hell of a time last night with it. That one time my game "crashed" turned out to be explorer.exe crashing in the background constantly because of the way that 7 renders the desktop using DX; it happened basically every 15 minutes, my game would minimize and I would have to frantically close some error windows and pop PS2 back up. After I finished last night I deleted SweetFX but was planning on tweaking it more today... guess not now.

 

I had the same problem & disabled the TS Overlay - did you get the overlay working with it too, or did you just disable it like I did?

 

I have read that many people are still using it, I will too.

 

I can confirm that this actually did increase my frame rate drastically. During big battles on lowest settings, I would get around 13 fps. Now, I never dip below 20, which is perfectly playable!

 

No I didn't try to get it to work with it once I found out it was the overlay, I had to disable it for it to run. I deleted the files now though, I don't want to risk getting banned.

 

**Important** Official word from SOE is that using sweetFX is not allowed, as it is an auto injector type file and cannot be identified when placed next to a hack injector. DO NOT USE SWEETFX UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
