    I don't know very much about the game. Still reading and learning as much and as fast as I can but am wondering, will we need a large capital ship as a base to launch from/retreat too. I'm talking about for the outfit like a mobile home base.

    We will probably use more AI for that. As long as we hire the right AI, we can do fine since not all AI are the same level, some are excruciatingly good as in on par or better than some players.

    One of the first tasks for the division when the game is launched will be to locate, and take one of these cruisers.

    As for the recruiting. Heck yeah, talk to literally everyone you know, your sister, your mom, your dad, your cousins, George Clooney, Barack Obama and the new pope, (he's awesome) and your dog named Fido. We also have a strict non-douche agreement with some of our associates, this includes guys named "Chad. "

    On the down side, while we may intend to hunt for a Bengal. I'm betting that's the initial goal of every other squadron / outfit / corporation that is going to be playing this.

    Plus the existence of piracy in the game is going to make keeping one once we get it a full time job. Getting it could be difficult too, I doubt they will just be floating derelict in the game world. We will probably need to wrestle it from a fair number of NPC's to start with. Hopefully there will be a number of smaller carriers for purchase before launch that we can pool our resources and acquire instead of pushing for something that an outfit like Goon is likely going to want as well. While they may lack quality among their ranks they already boast 4 Idris, and 30 something constellations, we just can't match that kind of firepower at the moment. Another group, Far Star Trading Co, had 24 idris and over 130 constellations back in July! Unless we significantly increase our recruitment we may need to take a different approach to how we plan on playing the game.

    Here's hoping the devs have something us smaller outfits can use as a home base other than idris (which only have 2 hangar bays). I noticed a lot of the guys in our line up have Hornets, the damn things don't have jump drives (except the super hornet) so they will likely need a lift to other systems until they can buy a jump drive for themselves.

    I think the whole idea behind acquiring them is either to find the derelict ones and patch them back together or to go full on pirate mode and just rob one, either way I will have my giant space castle filled with the finest of dining and promiscuous women!

    If we want to bump up recruitment I think this section of the forums needs to be a lot more active. Having a youtube and social media presence focusing on Star Citizen would be a big help. Taking requests for videos of different ships and features as they are made available and Twitch streams including recruitment messages would help as well. I know that there are officers assigned to different tasks in regards to SC, and I know that there isnt a lot of new information coming out regularly, but this section of our forums is gathering dust.
