Last weekend, several of us did some formation flying practice with P-51's in SB mode. These screenshots are why you should join us next time! I was trained academically by the Air Force, though I regretfully medically wash-out of training before I started actually flying it...so I know how most of the basic formation procedures and have a little knowledge of tactical/advanced formation.
