Forum Structure - Games, Divisions, Etc.

I've had some PM's about creating new forums. One in particular being MWO.

I was thinking maybe we could have one master 'Games' section, and then put all game forums underneath that. So there would be no more splitting them out by division.

The forum space would be a bit cleaner and we'd bury some of the ambiguity of what is a division vs. what is a game that we happen to play. Because I'm currently of the mindset that NNG will play lots of games, but we don't necessarily have to spotlight Game X as a division or Game Y as an "other game".

Thoughts?

Rather than:

If you ask me, I feel we should do the forums as you said but at the same time get out of the "division" mindset not just for the forums and teamspeak but for NNG as a whole. Yes, we will always have games we play more than others but that does not mean they should get some main focus or more attention than another. Calling one game a division and another just a game is forming cliques and things could get heated again quickly.

EDIT: And while were at it, can we clarify that the MAIN forum area before the specific game subforums should be used for important news pertaining to all of NNG from a higher-up or any important questions aimed at all of the NNG memberbase (maybe even give that a subforum that isnt as far down as the off topic areas) and not just an area to throw up useless jokes or things specific to another game that should be posted in its specific area. We have areas for thing like that such as OFF TOPIC forums and they are being vastly under utilized.

i.e.
MAIN

Game a, b, c, etc... Questions (Or whatever if we choose this route)​

Yes, it may make our forums look rather small but it makes our forums much more organized.

 

While we are small we should get out of the division mindset. It would be easier because not having a division wouldn't require a leader which would cause less power drama.

I think the subforum would be best now, clean up some of the old now defunct games forums. You can probably clean up a few chsnnels in ts as well.

 

But I thought of it first!

 

Can I have a warframe section? The handful of us that play it are mad good at this stage, ranking pretty high in the leaderboards for our weight class.

 

can we also get rid of the like system as that in particular has caused extreme problems in the past
