    ROFL. Its super easy to take ESFs out. Most pilots run the second they take damage, even if its small arms fire! I also have been in plenty of nonbio lab engagements where there has been ZERO air from both teams! Why? Because no one can get close to the engagement zone without getting lockoned to death!

    Also the Saron hrb should have never been nerfed and the fury if anything should have been knocked down to 550 for direct hit, not 300! It seems every fing thing I enjoy in this game is getting nerfed while everything I hate (Strikers, vuclans cannon, scatter max, blah blah) never gets touched. The obvious busted weapons stick around while the few good things still left gets screwed after i dump tons of time and certs into them. I can't take this much more. My willingness to play this game is diminishing after every one of the fucking "game updates".

    Oh and I'm another one of those guys that used to love flying around. I'm not that good, but I'm not awe full. However it seems now you cant make it as a pilot unless you have insane skills like Sphincter or that QQQQ TR guy.

    Flying with Sphincter is eithe hilariously awesome o makes me dizzy, I can't decide which, but skills like that are few and far between. I really feel as if we need to try get an air squad back, I mean VS does not have a bloody air outfit and every time Willtery kills me I cry a little.

    I originally wasn't going to weigh in on this, but herein is part of the problem. One burster or skyguard is a threat to ESFs, but the amount of bursters/skyguards you can stack becomes a massive problem. There is a limited amount of air-space and the penalty for collisions in air is much worse than tanks or infantry. It got a bit out of proportion, in terms of the render distance, then the buffs.
    Not to mention yes you can take out a burster, but the burster can come right back. Skyguard less so, but it takes coordination and skill to take out these targets. Burster is easy mode.
    Should ESFs has primarily been A2A, probably. But then liberators should be feared as A2G. Clear the enemy air to bring in your death machine, which since the enemy lost the air fight, will have a much harder time on the ground.
    I don't even mind if rocket pods became extinct to be honest.
    Currently, liberators are mainly used as A2A platforms, or wreck areas with little to no anti-air presence, whether it's AA fire or enemy air-craft.

    I feel that when the ESF update comes out, it's going to make the disparity between aces and everyone else higher. That, and it probably won't change much with the A2G G2A dynamic.

    Again, those are the KDR Pilots. Composite Armor (Which, contrary to popular belief, is the best Defense tool now) will easily double or triple your survivability against Flak and Small Arms Fire. The base rank makes it so that 2 or 3 Bursters aren't an instagib, and 4 or 5 are still survivable.

    Strikers are good when there are 3+, 2+ for AA. One striker volley isn't nearly enough to kill anything, it requires 2 to kill an ESF and 4 or 5 to kill a tank. This, coupled with the already Artillery-Esque way that both tanks and ESFs have been playing lately, makes it EXTREMELY easy to just duck out of range. Vulcans are great point blank, and ONLY good against vehicles. But they have to be used point blank. Scat Maxes have exactly the same problem, and our Blueshifts are literally 10x better in 90% of situations. Fury, however, was offering (AND STILL IS) players who have little to no experience the chance to rack up literally 100s of kills in minutes. Harassers are broken right now. They can sponge more AP Cannon shots than a lightning with Armor 2, they're too fast for lockons, and they have the same Physics as a tank (Meaning that a harasser can flip a tank). Saron was a Sniper Rifle mounted onto a Tank that could 1 shot infantry, and still do enough damage to kill armor. There is literally nothing that sony has nerfed that didn't need a nerf.



    I personally am of the opinion that Air needs a complete rework. I think alot of people over-dramatize the problems with it, but yes, air is slightly underpowered all things considered.

    ESFs should not have effective A2G capabilities. The simple fact that a majority of ESF pilots take Rocket Pods is proof that they're too strong.

    Liberators should not have effective A2A Capabilities. The simple fact that every lib has a tank buster and frame for dogfighting is proof that they're too strong.

    Galaxies SHOULD have a combat role, as they are intended to be floating fortresses. However, the only thing a galaxy has going for it is that it's a BIG taxi with LOTS of health.

    I will give it to you that stacking AA is infinitely easier than stacking A2G.
