    Personally, I want to do something similar, but have a guy packing c4 as well, preferably a heavy. However since it is becoming public knowledge, next time we're actively defending a tech plant, we'll need to counter this as well.

    I knew about the diffuser, but it never occured to me that they could get through that central force field - just the outer ones.

    That's brilliant.

    Does the Gate perk take the place of the Repair perk?

    I was thinking 1 Sundy with Gate Dif filled with AI MAXes + dual Bulldogs and one Sundy with Repair (or 2) + dual bulldogs parked outside the gate = quick domination.

    Gate takes the place of AMS, IIRC. I don't remember off-hand the rest of the sundy certs.
    What I want to know now is how much damage a tank mine does to a sundy.

    It replaces the S-AMS cert, yes.

    Which is why we don't (yet) see a lot of them. Not many people run battle-sundy's yet, because we tend to think of them only as mobile spawn points.

    I've been thinking that if (when) my Mag is certed the way I want, battle-sundy will be the option I go for - and this only encourages my thinking along that line.

    I think 3 sundies with Gate crasher rolling up full of Medic/Engi 6 MAXes and a few infiltrators (to stop them from spawning tanks) could take a fully defended dome in a few minutes, supported by pubstars with Magriders outside. We should test this tonight.

    I will probably have 2 C4 charges as medic tonight (tomorrow latest).
