Todays the day....I have put it off long enough. My baby and I are so close but today I let her fly...I over clocked my computer today. I was running 3.5 Ghz and I bumped it up to 4Ghz. As far as the automatic settings go (for my BIOS) 4.0 is the lowest setting and 5.0 is the max. I want to take it slow and keep an eye on my temps. I have yet to OC my GTX 680 because when I run PS2 my FPS is limited by my CPU and not my GPU. My CPU temps were well in the safe area, except Core #2 that jumped to 56 °C. I may push it a little more, but not a lot until I we are watercooled.

Looks like you've got it under control! I push my i5-2500k up to 4.2 Ghz. Could go higher, but my office is really warm most of the time, so heat is an issue. I have a bad CMOS battery that causes my BIOS settings to reset if I leave my computer off long enough, and when I forget to load my OC profile (default clock is 3.3 Ghz) it's a very noticeable performance hit.

May I recommend you dropping Coretemp for HWinfo ? It's a much better tool and I haven't noticed any issues with it like i have had with Coretemp in the past.

My Q6600 isn't able to OC afaik, but I'd love to do it one day. Estimated FPS gain is worth it.

It usually helps if you click the "Download" button located between "News" and "Add-Ons" :7

A tip I saw once: If you click and drag a download button and you get a ghost image on your cursor, it's probably an ad.

The correct answer is......none of them. You have to click the link at the red arrow and then you get a list of patches, where you can then choose to DL the one you want.

That probably just takes you to the "Download" tab. It's just another route for those who read the whole thing
