My main concern is the death of 25-48 or even 12-24 sized fights. I enjoy these way better than the frame dropping, explosion ridden, cluster that is a 48+ vs. 48+ fight. More zergs will be forming and with it my frustration.

 

It's also going to complicate the continent locking being implemented this month.

 

I don't necessarily think so. We will have more players but I think population wise on a % amount we will remain relatively stable. NC may gain a slight increase on our numbers edge but we all know how ineffective that already is.

 

i don't know how i feel about this. i have two characters on Waterson, and it was a nice change of scenery.

 

I always felt Waterson was dry. Lack of real skilled players, pretty unbalanced populations, etc. I'll occasionally hop to Connery just b/c it's a non-stop fight 24/7 but I think combining the two will had a lot of fresh faces to our community which will make it better for everyone in the longrun. Honestly, it is more a gesture towards Waterson that they merged them with Mattherson. I don't think they would have the numbers to make four continents and continent locking viable at all.

 

oh, so they've done it? i thought it would be done-with-Hossin level SOE considering stage. also yeah pops pops pops, i dunno. it was sort of nice knowing that whenever i was on Matherson, i would be fighting WITH you lot. not being MLGREKT by you. =p

 

Hasn't happened yet but from the tweets sent by Radarx it is coming VERY soon. I would say no more than two weeks out. They are trying to arrange a final seversmash between mattherson and waterson, possibly to determine the server name.

 

I don't get why it it can't be called mwatherson. I had a russian maths lecturer (so bad they lost their teaching modules and were put on research) who always pronounced it mwathamatics. That was when they spoke clearly enough to be understood.
