    Soe makes an ass ton of Mana rocket turret sales before nerfing them down to a proper balance..


    I seriously can't believe this wasn't certable..

    I've been thinking about getting the AV turret, but it has some downsides.

    First, it's very situational (if you see a sundy, just kill those who spawn and leave the sundy for those with real rockets).
    Second, they'll probably nerf it.
    Third, you probably get blown away before you'll be able to land sufficient shots (especially after the nerf, ofcourse).
    Fourth, you can't cert (into) it. I rather save those 700sc for real guns.

    Oh, Canvera, I hope you understand the joke is still on you if they decide to make Orbital sc only as well? :P


    EDIT: I've seen a lot of people being very enthusiastic about the AV turret. Perhaps I should consider it...

    I snagged that AV turret up. Zeo and myself rocked a max crashed like hell with those on the roof in a bio-lab eariler. Imagine 2-3 AV turrets paired with 2-3 AI turrets. Max. Crash. Stopped. Cold. anything the AV turrets don't rail the AI turrets clean up. The AV turrets are like the stationary TOW missiles from BF3 and do the same damage as an annihilator, for anyone who doesn't know.

    We need to set it up as a gauntlet, 2 AV turrets on the roof, 2 mana turrets on the ground just below the AV turrets. With a line of douche bag and tank mines strung out in front of the mana turrets, just in case a max or 2 get past the turret bombardment.

    Fact is if we set that up in the gen room, the back alley and just behind the SCU facing towards A point. Make sure we have a bunch and I mean a BUNCH of LA on the roof we could probably hold out infinitely if we wanted. Ill work on it some more tonight... my gears are turning here
