Inter Outfit Ops Night!

GOTR will likely be able to make this. We have a week, we can do a lot in a week Our "big" outfit night is on Thursdays, so we won't be pulling 100+ people, but we'll have a squad or three.

A few comments:

1) I notice that GOKU, RGQT, and TEST aren't on the invited list. This is your show, you can invite who you want (and we're honored to be included), but they're active and generally good to work with. Additionally, Wildcard Syndicate is an up-and-coming VS outfit that is trying really hard to work with other VS outfits, they'd probably be really psyched for this.

2) Does in-game custom channel still work? That might be easier. Double Teamspeak is rough sometimes.

3) I'd be careful with the 21+ PL recommendation / requirement. I know it's only encouraged at the moment, but we in GOTR don't have an age policy, we have a maturity policy. I don't think any of my current leaders are younger than 21 at the moment, but it's a slippery slope for us. I wouldn't want to, in the future, tell an aspiring or veteran platoon leader that they can't help lead the joint op because they aren't old enough.

 

Just wanted to say that, I love you Robo. I think we should extend invited to GOKU, TEST and DEFINITELY RGQT. Also if Robo vouches for WS, I say they are good enough for an invite.

 

Why don't we just invite the whole faction and see who shows

 

DaPP might actually show up. We wouldn't want that.

 

Ola guys! I'll most likely streaming the event from my PoV (hence I'll be running into my death live all the time), once I do get on, but I suspect other people will be streaming as well, so you should ask about it as well. (I also expect crashes on OBS and in-game as well, so I'll quickly keep up the stream!)

Now uhh, I'm fairly new to streaming (I've only done it about 4 or 5 times). I've often have trouble trying to save my highlights and communicating to my viewers. Derp.

That works too. For highlights, I think you go through your past broadcasts. I havent streamed on my channel in a while because I jump onto another for a multistream and charity stuff.

 

Okay @robocpf1 we had a meeting before hand were we discussed who we would invite to the FIRST op night. We did want to keep it small (Other council members decisions) for the first night. GOKU, RGQT, and TEST will all be invited to the next one defiantly but i will speak to the head members who i am organizing this with other outfits and ask them what they think. Wildcard Syndicate has been invited but is not being organised me but MikeHonchoYou from Nightmare. We may end up inviting GOKY, RGQT and TEST but until i have spoken to the heads of other outfits but i will assume that you will want GOKU, RGQT and TEST invited. I will also be more careful about the 21+ age preference for platoon leads. I am hoping that the double TS isn't a problem. Everybody in command position will be sitting in the command TS channel but the platoon leads and battalion lead will be the only people speaking in there. The battalion lead will move the platoons to locations and the platoon lead will move the squads and then the squad leads will micro manage the squads. The platoon leads should not need to switch between TS's and the only people who would need to maybe the squad leads but it isn't looking like it. Okay, i was talking to some people on the council and they said YES, invite those outfits. I will try and get around to speaking to them later today (oh no, not another forum registration).
