I am just wondering what Gaming Keyboard recommendations you guys have? Mine is starting to die and I am searching for a new one. Maybe some good and bad points about what you have got?

I have heard some good things about the logitech gaming keyboards as a solid keyboard with macros. They have some mechanical ones and backlit ones.
I personaly just use a chinese one I got which seems to work well enough, I even spilt energy drink on the numpad and it still works, I mainly got it because it glowed and I'm a college student so wanted cheap but functional. There was a cheaper one but it didn't look as nice.

    Wow, those are nice.

It also depends if you want a mechanical one or one that feels like a laptop. I like my Lycosa, but I didn't go with a lot of the macros and stuff...

I've got a CoolerMaster Storm QuikFire TK . I can't tell you which switches I ended up going with, I think Cherry MX Blue. It's backlit and compact so the num pad and arrow keys are all squeezed together in one block. I needed the compact design because I don't have a lot of room where my keyboard sits. If I was to need a new one I probably try out some Red switches.

The backlighting is really nice if you play in low to no lighting in your room. I'm glad I entered the market of mechanical keyboards too. I really can't think of any negatives since this is the only "gaming" keyboard I've ever had but I do personally like mechanical keyboards over standard keyboards. It's not going to turn you into some pro gamer or anything but the feedback from the keys is nice.

As far as having a ton of extra buttons on my keyboard, I wasn't interested in that since my mouse has 17 buttons. Otherwise I probably would've wanted something with some independent macro buttons.
