    So far I've seen nothing but great things in 1.39. Hats off to the devs, great patch!

    A lot of planes have gotten a lot better. Here is a few that I have tested so far:

    BF109 F4 - awesome! pure awesome! It moves, turns, stalls and heats up the way it should.
    P40E Kittyhawk - major major change. No more snap rolls. The plane can actually turn now. Now its a great match up for its tier and I cant wait to fly it vs the Germans. I got over 20 kills in it during the event by just BnZing and only died twice in 11 missions. Its not OP, they made it just right.

    A6M2 doesn't feel like the old A6M2, its climb rate has been reduced a little but the plane still performs well. Still turns like a beast.


    Since a lot of planes got a facelift, please post your feedback about what you have tested so far.

    I can now fly the P40E. and loving it.

    Since they decreased the climb rate on a Zero a little bit, you can still rope'm all day. Take a look at the stat cards for Zeroes now, the top speed has been changed as well so we'll see what kind of fight they going to put up once the map rotation changes.


    So here is what I didn't like about MM since the patch:

    We got in a game with BF109F4s and Fw190 A5s and the enemy team had La7s and 7B20s. It's like they made T3 Germans a little better and downtiered Russians at the same time.
    Now the new Fw190A1 is a tier 2 plane and it gets matched vs Yak9Ts and La5FNs.
    IMO Yak3P, La7 and 7B20 should be matched vs G10, K4, A8 and G6. May be throw some D9 and F8 into the mix as well.

    On a more positive note, I-185 has gotten better. The plane was fine before and wasn't outperforming for its bracket. Now it's a little better. As long as you keep the energy up, it will greatly reward you for it. It became a lot smoother and just fun to fly. Still kinda slow for my taste.

    Yak9T got a little worse. Now you actually have to watch your airspeed when stalling out. It burns more energy on turns and if you're below 200KPH, you gotta be really careful.
    As Waffles discovered last night, if you go into flat spin, down throttle will not save you. To recover quickly you have to turn off your engine for couple of seconds while trying to nose it down. It will also overheat at 100% throttle.
