Mech Warrior: Online

I'm mostly playing my lights cause my assault needs a new expensive engine before he'll be really useful.

 

Gonna keep working my lights since I am close to master level on all 3 of my firestarters

Because it's so true! I can't bring myself to play a slower mech!

So I think most of us will agree, mediums suck. They are slightly more armored lights that are bigger, slower targets.

Hm, what med/assault you'd recommend trying?

Once I'm done, I'm gonna pop this up again and see what's up.

 

I personally like the timber/dire wolves for those classes but its always just a matter of opinion

 

Battlemaster is a nice assault, though I feel you must replace the engine in it unless you like walking 64kph.
I've seen some really strong setups for the Dire Wolf, a lot use six Ultra AC/5's.

Mediums are mostly a bust from what I can tell, exception is the Stormcrow.
If you want a medium mech playstyle with a light mech you can use the Kit Fox, or Adder.

Edit: I really need to stop changing up my Kit Foxes so much, but this build seems to work pretty good for me.
