Nvidia only, have a budget of up to $200. Imlooking at this one http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-...id=1430754689&sr=8-26&keywords=NVIDIA GTX 760
I would look at the gtx 960. They are only slightly ahead of the 760 but nvidia stopped making the 760 and are trying to push it out. It will be harder to sli in the future as I had a hard time just pricing a second 760 if I wanted to upgrade now and it will only get worse. Last year the 760 was the 200 dollar sweet spot card and the 960 looks to be the same.
EVGA Geforce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Prices may not apply to all countries, YMMV.
I use a 760 and like it so it should serve you well. It's a great card for 1080p gaming. It can handle higher resolutions, just has best frame at 1080. One thing I meant to add earlier, If your current mobo and power supply supports sli, I would keep buying a second one in a few months in mind if possible. 2 760s in sli used to beat the titan and 780. So two 960s should be more powerful than the top of the line single GPU that nvidia has on offer.
960 sc acx 2.o on ultra in Bf4 running 164 frames! Thanks guys for the info, this type of of knowledge base is so helpful!
Wait! Did you get this deal too? http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/ar...witcher-3-wild-hunt-nvidia-geforce-gtx-bundle free arkham knight and witcher 3 is awesome. I know there's a few broke college kids who would be interested if you don't want them, haha :P Edit: 960 is just witcher 3, but still good. Edit 2: And all they offered me when I got my card was shitty outlast. I didn't even claim it.
Geez, not only do we have to hear you calling him daddy in TS but now on the forums as well? And damn highlander, 164 fps? My 970 is nowhere near that.
