NNG War Thunder Squadron Paint Scheme

Hey everyone!

I was thinking we should have a specific paint scheme that we run with. I am thinking it should be one or two decals so that we all have in the same exact location on our plans. 4 decals is premium only. Just some symbol or layout to set us apart. A symbol that starts to become significant as more people see it, either through kill cams, screenshots or just flying along side us. It will be another peg in the NNG branding machine . It would be completely optional. I don't want to stifle anyone's creativity that they put into their paint scheme.

If anyone has ideas please submit them here.

Nice schemes guys! Really like them both, Ghost's "get fisted" suits due to the amount of raping that will ensue... And Crazy's design is epic. Really love them both.

 

I have mixed feelings about this. I would love to have a way like this to show uniformity. But at the same time, I have come to love my paint scheme, have it on every single plane I own, don't wish to change it, and wouldn't think of telling others they have to use what I use (I know you're not saying it either).

I think the only thing that will get me to change my mind about it is if at some point we are permitted to upload an NNG specific decal that only those in the NNG squadron have access to. If that ever were to happen, then I'd say each and every one of us should dedicate one decal slot to the NNG graphic.

But in the spirit of the thread, I'll post some screens here of my design. This design has evolved since I started playing. Been useing the griffin since day one (or what ever day I unlocked it, lol) but I've used several backing colors for it. I've used to paint more of my plane as well, but I've since some to find that I like the default cammo on the planes (or other ones I've unlocked) and only like to paint a small section as to not detract too much from the historic look. So I settled on just painting the tail.









I like the orange because I can fit the round decal on 99% of my planes with no problem. But it could also work with black, yellow, red, and checkered. But I find I like the orange best, and accent it with orange smoke.

 

I agree completely Linch. Which is why this would be 100% opt in. You don't have to do it if you don't want to.

I just think some uniformity could be a cool thing to see in the sky.

 

That works too. Linch's is actually very classy looking.

I can get over the top sometimes with my decals. My planes look like something out of a graffiti magazine.

 

This is a bit off topic, but this is the only art thread I could find and I thought ya'll might be interested in custom signatures for the forums that are War Thunder themed. Let me know.
