Last night the new patch for PS2 launched and with it came many new changes and a whole new continent. At the time it launched there was already a good amount of outfit members on, playing on Amerish. The new continent is gorgeous, and very well laid out. No water but that is ok. So as we are being pushed and pushing on the TR at one of our Tech Plants, I notice we are outnumbered in continent population: 27%VS:35%TR:38%NC. We were losing all of our territory on Amerish. That is when the Devs kindly asked players to leave Amerish for about an hour to test something new. NNG said "fuck it." with Amerish, and we decided to go to Esamir. Upon arrival, we had about 40% of the territory on Esamir already and a higher population. We quickly started forming up and doing what NNG does best... Turning the map purple. One by one we pushed the NC off the continent until they had been WG-ed and brought down to 8% cont pop. Then we went for the TR, who still had 30% population and a few territories: We saw an opprotunity to cut them off from the southern territories so NNG cut them off. (make sure to watch AT LEAST the first 2 mins!) Working with a few VS that were already at Esamir, we united the entire continent under one color. Purple. Esamir was ours and it was because of NNG. We got to the TR WG and took some Victory pictures. We were in the midst of taking that last NC territory, I was just getting anxious and took the Screenshot. :P It took us 1 hour and 30 mins to accomplish this. We then went BACK to Amerish, where we were being pushed back to our WG. NNG quickly snapped back into action and pushed the TR and NC back, so far back that by the end of the night we were outside the TR WG on Amerish. We took 54% of the territory with 32% population by the time I personally logged off. (there were still about 30-40 in the platoon when I left) Huge successes start with successful individuals, last night I saw lots of talented players working together under one name, NNG and for one faction, the Vanu.
