I have been doing some work as far as seeing how much CPU usage I get on my cores using various core monitors. I have noticed that for the most part all games use one core, and the ones that are able to utilize multi-core processors only do two for the most part. I have noticed that anything over four processors are never going to get use for applications running over the internet, only host machine applications have be making use of the extra two cores on my six core processor. While I have been looking at what is best single core processor that you can get, want to know if anyone else is having similar results on there CPU's would love the feedback to see what motherboard and any overclocking on bios if you have any (BTW overclocking is great if you know what your doing and have a good cooling system can get an extra 15% our of your CPU with really no risk)

In most cases modern CPU's are light years ahead of where the average video game needs them to be in terms of horsepower. (Thank the consoles for that) Fire up AutoCAD or Maya and all 6 cores will light up guaranteed.
