The other day I couldn't re-install smite after deleting it incase some of the old files were messing it up. I had to re-download the program from installing and setup a new account because I couldn't find a download link without making a new account. But then I had a problem where I couldn't download the game at all. I would start the program, select to install smite and nothing would happen. I google searched and found this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Smite/comments/1beyf9/cant_reinstall_smite_help_please/ I am now able to try and download smite again with a fresh install and it will hopefully work this time. TLDR: Uninstall "Hi-Rez patch and authentication service" and try to download again.
