    Update:

    The Baslisk's damage output was increased by about 20%.

    Snowmen respawn in the same place. There is probably an equation that keeps the same amount of snowmen on the continent so the respawn rate in prime time is probably going to be <15min.

    Lockon launchers are often starting to lockon before ADS finishes. Combined with the shorter lock time (1 sec for esf, instant for lib/gal), if you are flying low your flares are not likely to work because your flare hasn't made it from you to the server to the enemy player back to the server before it hits you. I've also been hit by quite a few long after deploying flares at long range. If a terminal/sundy is nearby, this is highly abuseable by instalock->fire->swap to pistol->reequip class at terminal->swap back to rocket->repeat.

    Dumbfire rockets currently bugged vs air - doing about 1/3rd the damage they should due to someone forgetting to update a resist table value when they changed them to be affected by flak.

    AV Turret - stealth nerf to angle you can turn it. Stealth buff(probably a bug) to it's velocity. The projectile is shooting at about 300m/s, making it much easier to hit aircraft(about the same difficulty as a saron).

    Tracers and launcher smoke trails have been updated. They are less obscuring on medium graphics and visible on low graphics now. This should help ESF pilots with slower computers! This is also a huge change to flying on Esamir, since low settings removes all of the fog and increases render distance, and now you can see your bullets. I am slightly color blind and could not see the reticle against the Esamir fog so could choose between invisible reticle or invisible tracers.

    The increase in Vortex damage against infantry was while uncharged. 167dmg/shot.

    Protip: Since AV max weapons now fire from the center of your camera and not the arms(that's just a pretend graphic now), you can use this to your advantage hiding behind cover and shooting out of tiny windows/through cracks/around cover in buildings and vehicles can't fight back. You don't need to be nearly as exposed as before.

    SOE marketing guy is a douche for the first day of holiday sales having the 99SC Tankbuster when it's only 100 certs.

    Further clarification regarding Saron/Hailstorm. In a straight up 1v1 fight beginning at range where you both see each other, the Saron is superior because of the higher accuracy and range. Mossy/Reaver's have bullet drop and larger COF than the Scythe's hitbox past about 80m or so and using the Saron at range maximizes your advantages. The Saron is almost always going to be better vs Libs/Gals. The hailstorm shines when you are capable of consistently sneaking up on someone and 1 clipping them with high rank magazine size. If you typically needed 2 clips or weren't putting them on fire after 1, the Saron is probably going to be better.

    More LOL updates.

    The SOE guys are pretty careless, especially when not sleeping much :/. Thanks to Himo for wondering in TS how the f he died to an Airhammer in 3 shots.

    They wanted the Baslisk to be better vs flash/har/esf...(lol why it was great before), so they.....increased basilisk velocity 50!!%, increased ROF by 33%, decreased max dmg range(but still doing much more DPS than before), and on top of that, reduced light armor resistance against the bullet type(meaning it really didn't lose damage vs esf). Three other important things share this resist type - Skyguard, Airhammer, and Drake! Since the drake was buffed to be the same as the new basilisk, quad drake battlegal will roflstomp all air now(and everything on the ground). Racer airhammers are back to their prenerf state, and single skyguard are going to drop ESF before they can reach cover much more easily.

    It takes about 20-60min depending on how busy the server is to get the snowman achievement with a racer skyguard.
    Protip: Use nvidia control panel to max out color vibrancy and saturation while running low graphics but ultra textures and meshes. This will remove the fog and turn the snowmen redhats into the eye of saron at range. Since they spawn in the same place if the server is busy just circle 3 hexes killing all the air and harassers and outrunning tanks. Remember harassers had their composite armor nerfed AND resistance to skyguard/basi/drake/fury/bulldog nerfed, so a racer skyguard does serious work against them. Use the third person view while chasing and shooting to give turret stabilization. I used Mani tower-> biolab -> bridge -> rink -> backtrack for about 15 possible spawnpoints. Bonus: it's by TR warpgate for lots of easy ESF/lib certs when you can use the bridge for cover.

    So is Nanoweave an effective option now? Or should I invest those refunded certs into bandoleer or resist or other???

    It's sorta effective now. I'd go with band if you have AV or revive grenades, shield capacitor as a medic, and nanoweave as a adrenaline shield heavy in cqb.

    Tonight's lol wtf patch...........Dev's specifically stated that AV Max weapons were too good vs infantry and were nerfing them, and in the same patch - BUFFED POUNDERS TO HAVE 380 SPLASH DAMAGE WITH 4 ROUNDS. You can direct hit alpha infantry as well, and there's special modifier to resists vs them where you kill a max in <2 seconds stock, <0.5seconds upgraded. 300m infantry snipes are easy. At the same time, the shells coming from the reticle and not the guns means you can hide in cover in lockdown and spam through tiny cracks at chokepoints. With an ammo pack and max lockdown you turn into a Fury with no reload timer.

    3hrs and 700 kills later I'm bored and signing off :/.

    Patch Update:
    Player animations might be fixed.

    Basi ROF nerfed about 10%......but no mention of resist table fix, so it's still going to be ridiculous.

    AV Turret and Deci/Dumbfire aircraft resistances switched back.

    Explosive splash should set off other explosives again.

    Flak and Max explosive resistance readjusted. This may have been why Pounders were instagibbing maxes and default launchers were doing 80%.

    Pounder splash nerfed to 4 shot kill from 3. I think my friends and I went 2900-50 yesterday with them while shouting please nerf SOE and SOE got the message(surprising).

    They knew what they were fixing I guess, maybe just live testing some ideas that some one in the back room had been pushing for months just to shut him up ahah :rolleyes:. Excitied about basilik/drake adj, and AV mana turret back to how it was. Also the hits not registering, that was a good thing to fix...

    Yeah.. I use bando on the medic for rev-nades but I had Nano on the Heavy and just wanted to know if I should re-purchase.. which I did and will be boosting the resist shield next.. ty as usual :)
