-- understood it's all situational, just looking for one word answers, some choices may be equal-- -- all choices will be certed 'to the MAXimum' -- -- options are listed in order of what I reason to be possibly potentially maybe could be the best -- Scythe for anti-air only - [equipped with photon A2A missile pods and hailstorm turbo laser, flares] Q - composite armor or nanite repair, stealth Q - Dogfighting airframe (have level 1 and like it) or racer or precision Q - optics - zoom, thermal or night vision [for the turbo laser] Q - A2A missile pods - lock on time looks the best, or range, reload time Liberator --currently have Dalton, Zepher, CAS30 tank buster, tertiary gun is default drake, have flares Q - defense - nanite auto repair, armor, stealth Q - airframe - high G (like this) or precision, or racer Q - tertiary gun - Walker or Bulldog Q - optics - zoom, thermal or night vision Galaxy - will probably cert into racer (over high G or precision), bulldog for 3rd 4th guns, walker for secondary MAX suit for anti-infantry Q - kinetic armor, flak or nano-armor repair - will probably have two cosmos.
My usual lib loadout is: Primary - Vektor w/ zoom Secondary - Dalton w/ nv Tertiary - Bulldog w/ nv & Willterry gunning it Defense - Auto repair Utility - Afterburner Airframe - High G On the rare occasions we need a straight up a2a liberator then I just swap the dalton and bulldog with the shredder and walker, but that's rare, so, yeah.
On the Galaxy, if you do decide to cert into it, go for the precision drop frame. Yes, you are slower, but for the love of god, you grab a pair of walkers and you turn into a mobile AA platform that can turn tighter than an ESF.
For the scythe A2A I roll with Dogfighitng Frame 3 ( when you fly without it, you really notice the slugishness in turn response and aiming) Nanite Repair (fully certed, sometimes I use stealth but only for tank runs) Flares (no brainer here) Hailstorm Turbo Laser (fully certed magazine clip, one clip in the back of an ESF will usually kill it dead) No secondary weapon just afterburner (When you are piloting, I find that the afterburner makes all the difference. I would glady forgo the a2a missles for more afterburner. You are able to reverse thrust for longer and chase down those fast mossies much easier. The scythe is actually my favorite thing in the game and if you are ever on and want to fly along hit me up in TS, I welcome the wingmen!)
For the lib I use Precision and High G airframe ( I switch back and fourth depending on who is gunning for me) Tank buster on the primary (thing is awesome) Dalton on the belly gun( if someone requests zephyr I will roll that but dalton is pretty much standard) Fully certed nanite repair (i think its more effective than composite) Rear gun: Bulldog (I know the walker was buffed but I still think its kinda weak. It pecks away with little damage and will scare off ESFS. If you have a talanted rear gunner like Tenuis, Shadoom, Gamer Claark, Snikolas, or someone else (even I am pretty good with it) you have a greater chance of actually killing the ESFS rather than scaring them off with the walker. Plus its good against ground, with the tail of the Lib pointed to the action, two bulldog rounds will usually drop ground infantry. Utility: Flares. (Krunk (nobomba) and Phragg sometimes use afterburner but I prefer not to have it)
