Is it possible to give a few people access to tools to control the server remotely? So if it crashes, they can restart it or whatever. SSH should work I suppose.

We aren't currently running any control panels, so the additional admins would have to be comfortable working with the MC server in a Linux environment. Our immediate thought is to just create a new user and run the MC server from that user space, and give the user info to someone trustworthy. I'm not sure what security implications there would be, nor am I sure what the implications would be for coordination, either, but I suppose it's possible.

Myst or I can usually respond to a server crash near-immediately (he can SSH from his phone in the worst case), but he does have meetings and we both have to sleep occasionally, so having another person or persons who can do restarts would be handy. It's something we'll seriously consider, and see if we can come up with a decent solution.

Edit: we will also look into control panels and other remote administration tools for MC servers, or other tools that might be useful

Edit 2: Sorry that post came out weird and rambly. That's what i get for thinking through my fingers.
