Anyone else up for getting some times organized with other clans such as TWB, PFT, etc for doing count-ins? We did 4 v 4 jet count-ins last weekend, and it was sick...insty-queues with F-86's and MiG-15's...and my lowly F-80 ...even with my incredibly out-matched jet, it was probably the most fun that I have ever had playing WT. I was thinking about trying to find a specific time on Saturdays to do it weekly, otherwise we can run between TS and mumble servers to figure out who all is on and up for it. P.S. I'm uploading some of the videos that I took during it. Unforunately I had just turned off my recording when a 109G-10 gave an F-86 a hug after peppering it with machine guns (F-86 was out of ammo and giving him the kill...both stalled out at the same time in the vertical while in opposite roll, and got so close that if their roll was any different, their wings would have hit)
I don't know for how long the duel event is going to last but it sounds like fun. I wish I was sober enough the other night to fly and that tank bug has infected me pretty bad
This is the first one, we let them shoot down Captain Kirk since he wasn't with us and we wanted to engage above the clouds (15,000+ ft) (we pulled him into mumble after the game though) Nraged, we can still count-in normal queue (we were going to switch to it anyway, but was too much effort figuring out who had German Jets and switching squads) I'll post the others as they are uploaded. I so wanted to fly it today and been waiting for it for over a month, but I'm at the amusement park with the family so ..... But yeah, we'll get together with TWB, PFT, probably Rogues and Mercs to put this together.
