    The rants on the SOE forums are pretty bad... 25% bonus when we used to have 3x and 2x station cash... why SOE... I really don't get it...

    There was a HUGE shift in SOE policy and SOE leadership recently, A LOT got let go and those who stayed had to think of ways to get more for the company. No one would buy SC unless it was 2x or 3x day, and they needed more.

    the pricing model is way too out of whack, $5 for a camo? $7 for a gun? Ridiculous. If they halved these prices they would sell more than double and make more money in the long run.

    Well that used to be the thing, then 2x and 3x would mean those guns were really 2.50/3.50 or even less for 3x. It made sense.

    Well the responses on the SOE forums say it all, their huge shift in policy is hurting rather than helping their cause

    And that makes more sense, and is why people don't want to buy SC on non-2x/3x days. To put these costs into perspectives against other MMOS = $10 for a helmet in planetside that you can only wear on one character, or $13 for a WHOLE MONTH of subscription in any other MMO where you get access to everything.

    Who cares about the camos or other cosmetic crap. You want a new gun? Play the game, get your certs and buy it with certs.
    If you're new to the game, would you pay $50 or $60 for the game that you love playing? I'm sure people would pay more than that.
    So send $50 to SOE and it's going to be more than enough to get most of the shit you need.
    I still use Alpha Squad weapons on my TR and NC and I do just fine.
    So they sell their cosmetic shit an it's pricy and pointless. I have it just because I had 19500 SC at release and I blew most of it on useless shit.
    I can assure you that it didn't make me a better player.

    Look at the game now. It works great, hasn't crashed on me in days and I love it. They got their game working now so they want some money back. After all it's their business.

    As for double and triple SC, I would buy it just because it's cheap but 25% off? Don't think so...

    I'm not saying camos and helmets make you better, I'm saying if they want to make more money they should price it lower. I am a subscriber, and I only bought SC during 2x sales, that's where I get my SC from.

    Well regardless of what SC or cosmetics do for anyone in the game it's the principal behind it all, even if a player does not purchase SC.
