This is an installation guide for SweetFX which inhances the way your game looks. I've seen a few threads where people have lightly mentioned this working well in BF3, so I figured I'd put a thread up with the installation guide incase anyone is interested in trying it.

I'm using in in PlanetSide 2 Beta right now. I gotta say, not bad at all. It makes PS2 noticeably more crisp/clear. It could have a lot to do with the "fog" or "motion blur" that they put in PlanetSide 2, though I could be wrong. When I get more time I'm going to try SweetFX with some of planetside's in game settings turned on/off to see how things look.

Bottom line: I like it and recommend trying it. And if you don't like it after trying it, simply remove it!

I tried this out and PS2 errors and does not run. I may have done something wrong, but it seems this no longer works with Planetside 2.

Really? I was just using it last night... That's strange... But then again, this is 3rd party so I guess something like this is to be expected.

Looks nice! Careful though, with 3rd party programs there is always a risk of getting banned/bag

Very true. But let's be realistic here. Sony wants my money, and they want it bad. I'll get atleast one warning before they decide to take any action. And this hasn't been officially "banned" yet, right?

Speaking of being "banned". Has anyone see the aim bots that are available for PS2? That's really sad, they work so damn well too. There are youtube videos up somewhere, just google around. Every time I see a new one I report it to Sony... I hope they have some sort of prevention/detection for this.

I've seen those since the start of beta. The guys who get 93354 kills on 6 deaths are probably developer bots. I've seen scores like that for so long that I'm certain that's what they are. Developer characters that are scripted to do things like kill fake characters to test things like recoil, fire spread, damage, damage degradation, etc... They probably have developer characters in the real game so they can test live rather than in their offline test environment.

Hey guys, I found a pretty simple and organized GUI for SweetFX. Here is the link if it hasn't already been mentioned.
