TrackIR 5 so much kicks FaceTrackNoIR's ass!

Very much install software, and plug-and-play right out of the box, easy software to adjust and smoooooooooooooth! Way smoother than I could ever get FaceTrackNoIR to work even with a PS3Eye camera.

Fortunately too, the IR LED headtracking model I built for FaceTrackNoIR works seamlessly with TrackIR 5.

Can wait to get a HOTAS stick and be fully ready for Simulator flying.

 

honestly what did you expect

 

I expected that you were gonna grab your balls and learn how to fly like a man!!!

 

I've had a TrackIR 5 in my wishlist on Amazon for about a month now. I'll likely grab one up for Star Citizen.

 

If you want to learn to fly with a joystick and TrackIR and get good at it, War Thunder is the only way
Learning to fly with a wingman is even harder. Learning to fly with 2 pairs is not easy either.
It's not your equipment that flies the plane

When you find yourself in 2v2 or 4v4 situation, teamwork and experience is what's going to make all the difference.

 

DFM is right around the corner. I hope to get plenty of experience flying with fellow NNG Citizens then! I would pick up WT but I still have plenty of play value left in PS2 and I don't really want to get too involved in another game between now and SC release. I'm planning to focus primarily on SC once it drops.

 

LoL @ DFM, I mean at the promise to release it. It's been coming out for months now. It's still around the corner, probably having a difficult time turning our way.
I don't mind them taking the time to get it done right but people bought their ships with hopes to fly them soon and all they got so far are the pretty videos filled with more pretty promises.

 

Yea I totally understand the cynicism there. I only recently discovered the game though so I don't carry the initial let down with me. I guess we'll find out for sure in about 2-3 weeks =P
