TrackIR 5 so much kicks FaceTrackNoIR's ass!

I read about there being a ton of problems with trackIR 5 in war thunder but they seem to mostly be centered around 3rd person view in arcade/realistic. have you tried external camera?

 

There is no need for TrackIR in AB and RB.
It's like putting training wheels on a car.

 

Fair point. I guess I'll invest that 200 dollars in ammo instead, haha.

 

Yes for AB or RB, not quite necessary, but absolutely necessary for SB and, I think it will be a big part of Star Citizen too. Plus I found a re-boxed unit for $80. Too good a deal to pass on, especially since I built a 3-point headgear to originally use with FaceTrack.

 

Instead get a joystick along with TrackIR and you will actually be able to FLY your planes.

Already got an X52, I just get the feeling that I'd be godawful in full realistic

 

Mine just arrived in the mail today. I can fly just fine, ACM is another matter. Lots of practicing to do!
