Hey everyone, just thought it would be interesting to know everyone's hobby and/or passion.

    I am very big outdoorsman.....

    -Hunting
    -Fishing
    -Photography
    -Paintball
    -4-wheeling

Hunting and fishing are a big part of my fam. Dad was a charter boat captain for 30+ years before we go into the restaurant business.

We are big tournament fishers. We do about 5-6 tournaments a year. Past two years have been good, won money 5 out of 6 tournaments this year.

Won second place Swordfish in the past two tournaments. First picture was a $26,000 fish and second picture was a $10,000 fish.

Oh my goodness it's hard to sum it up. In random order:

    • Music & Audio - I'm a sound junkie. Quality output with amplification and receivers driving the show is the only way.
    • Cars - Racing, owning, high quality detailing. Speed. I love going fast.
    • Guitars - I've been playing since I was 6 and have 8 guitars. Strats, teles, custom, electric acoustics, classical & more.
    • Beer - I homebrew and am always working on new recipes or batches. I'm currently brewing a Belgian style IPA in the basement.
    • Traveling - Either just locally to new spots or around the world. I've been all over!!
    • Technology - I'm an advocate for the advancement of it. I work in it, play in it and help drive it. It's the reason a lot of us are here.
I also like eating food. lol.
    :D

Alright. I'm gonna kill some time during my one hour work shit...I mean shift...shift!

Biology - It's my degree program. I hope to turn it into marine biology and study the Greenland sharks or Mako sharks. (And hellfire, I want that Mako!)
Violins - Trust me when it comes to knowing about violins, I know that shit. I've been playing from the age of 10 and still play occasionally. I also offer up my skills to recording majors here at FLCC if they need and string instruments played as long as the provide the instrument.
Paintball - I used to play competatively when I lived in Hawaii and I also was a field ref for woodsball on Bellows AFB/beach. Theres no use in trying to find a team in NY because of college and how Im constantly moving between towns, I mostly just play with large groups of friends back by Syracuse.
Classical Music - I know you guys hear all of my other music when I'm in game and in TS but you just cant kick ass to Beethoven or Bach, its impossible for me. When I'm alone or a a few friends over I put those on hold and bring out the classical with the orchestras and such. Plus it is very relaxing for me and helps me focus.
Bows - I LOVE bows. My dad got himself a bow and my older brother a long bow two years and I have been using theirs. I am getting myself a bow in the spring to shoot some 3D competitions with my dad.
Tennis - If any of you know me well you should know that my favorite sport is tennis all the time. Come winter I will be a bit more irritated because I cant play and playing against a wall sucks, I never win.
Drinks - You all know this one. I have an issue with drinking but Im no longer drinking unless Im out with friends, like tonight I am getting schwasted with friends unless plans fall through...

There you now know a few things about me. Feel free to ask me anything if you want to know more

Snowmobiling. I love snowmobiling, even after I almost died falling off a 50 foot cliff 4/5 years ago.
God damn was I a sexy bastard back then, back off ladies, don't get too excited. I ended up shattered the my femur in the middle, and breaking a growth plate in my right wrist. I was in a wheel chair for a few months and I had to use a walker for a little while after that, and then crutches. The had to put a metal rod in the femur that was shattered for about a year. I still have a pretty sick battle scar, but thankfully I don't have the rod in anymore.

This is the rig I drive around

I guess my other hobby would be computers. The first time I remember being on a computer was when I was 6 years old. I would sit on my mothers lap while she would work from home on a computer that ran DOS. Been gaming competitively on first person shooters since i was 11.

I used to free-run around the city closest to me, I wasn't amazing and didn't do anything too crazy, but it was something to do to pass the time.

Random projects. At the moment I'm working on building a soup can jet engine with my CNC machines. I'm alsotrying to find a cheap longboard so I can install an electric motor on it. I also have an old briggs and stratton motor from an old snowblower that I might be putting on a bike eventually. I also made a coilgun. I recently just borrowed my friend's physics books he uses in one of his college courses and I'm working on perfecting it. Apparently if you wrap coils over each other going the opposite way, it will cancel out most of the force and it won't really get you anywhere. That's the problem I've been running into. I don't have a picture of it quite yet, but I put together a capacitor bank that I took from disposable cameras (that you can get from practically any major department store for free) totally up to around 4,390 microfarrads.

Another project I worked on was a headtracking system for a game called "Arma 2". It's a military simulator. You can get a headtracking system for around $100 or get a really nice one for around $200, but ofc I had too much time on my hands and made one that worked with a webcam. In order for it to work properly, I had to replace the infrared filter with an edge of a floppy disc (to filter out visible light, there was too much interference) and I used infrared LEDs. I made the casing for it with my CNC machines.

^^ Probably the most stupid looking prototype out there.

^^ End product! (Yes. I still had to use tape...)

At the moment my buddy and I are coming up with more ideas of products we'll actually be able to market and throw up on eBay. If it catches, I'm going to be building a website for it and hopefully we could become a larger company and fulfill contracts for a number of different companies. But that's a totally different story.

Oh. And music. I put together this playlist. Put it on shuffle! I add to it everyday.

    My passions are rather simple.

Reading: I've been reading since preschool, and from roughly first grade to graduation from high school and beyond, i was reading a 400+page book a day. Do not ask how large my personal library is. It will make your eyes pop out.
Making Armor: I make scale mail. It's simple, keeps the hands busy, but lets the mind roam and allows for conversation.
Medieval Reenactments: Technically, you would call this live action role playing, but its a lot of excercise and just having some fun with your buddies. lots of fighting, and we have a saying. "It's not park day until someone gets hit in the groin." Theres around 40 of us Amtgarders in my area, and when we have events, your talking about brawls of up to 500 people.

I like to name my thumbs after professional wrestlers and then "thumb wrestle." That's how I decide who to put money on in Vegas. I also blog about my miniature llamas....it's WILDLY unpopular. Oh! And did I tell you about my inch-worm races?

Okay...Boone and GhostSheets, you knew what you were getting yourselves into when you invited me to your forums. VERY nice site by the way.
