Running and forward stealth squad with MAXes. Interesting. And you guys were still pretty sneaky with it?

I disagree, the amount of non cloaked should be limited and medics.

I still feel as though the infil is at a big disadvantage 1 v 1. That being said 1 or 2 good medics to escort is probably worth it.
    Thank you!

Glad they removed that 2 MAX limit in the GAL.

The bio dome assault was our best effort me thinks. Room to room squad communication and clockwork generator shutdown. Wish I could prove we were outnumbered since we were 2 squads vs platoon but who knows.

The best tactic is to rush in undetected and hack vehicle terminal and have Deathrus spawns his Sundy. Taking a base from inside, priceless ;) Good times

Exactly. I assisted with this myself the other night when we were attacking. Talmaru told me, once we dropped in, to rush to a terminal and spawn an AMS. I did and it was awesome.

My other experience doing something similar was when I was playing with just two other friends. We sneaked into a base, went to the third floor, placed proximity mines near the elevator (to cover our backs) and proceeded to hack all their anti-air at the base. Minutes later, and unexpected by us, an outfit stormed the base and were happy to find that the base had zero air-defense. It was great.

Hopefully I can run with you guys and take some bases from the inside. There's nothing more exciting for me in this game than that.

The whole stealth recon aspect of things can also be really effective for defense. About 2/3 days ago we were close to losing indar to the TR, so as opposed to frontal assault we sat some liberators inside the warp gate, shelled all the positions nearby. Some of us were still on foot outside, and i had Charlie squad command.
"Charlie squad, you're about to get a rather interesting drop beacon, someone spawn an AMS when they get in, terminal's been hacked."
Charlie starts dropping, behind the enemy armour, behind their assaults, and beside all their sunderers.
The moment the randoms see a new spawn, "Oh look, new thing, best spawn there."
Cutting off supply lines, out flanking large formations and confusing the daylights out of people, one of the major aspects of the stealth recon squads. (Not that we were stealth recon per se, just right place, right time, and really unfair tactics to the poor sunderers).

Also, my two cents, the stealth recon finds a gap and exposes it. Mobile infantry smash it wide open, armour rolls through. For the defense if we feint the armour back and leave the infantry looking vulnerable we'll be charged. "Oh look, easy experience, let's get in and mop up". This is when the armour, after retreating, flanks, worked fairly well for Carthage/Rome. (Ignore the lack of air support)
Ach, I'm too sleepy to post sense.

Also, the whole get a team in place prior to capping is a great idea, especially for the likes of tech plants etc. (I think infiltrator cloak should get them past shields, sadly it'd be a major balance issue)
