Elite Dangerous 1.0.0

I wanted to do some exploring, mining, pirating. I also was going to try using a 360 game pad for flight. I am sure I'll end up spending a few hrs messing with controls.

 

I do and I don't want to get into this, It looks really good, but I don't know if I want to go out and get into another game or now...
Sucks being stuck on a fence like this

 

I am going to split my time between them both. MWO frequently pushes my rage button, when this happens I'll simply jump on Elite. Tell you what, if i had it I would have started playing after you took off. Shit game after shit game after shit game

 

So for the record who is getting or is actively playing this right now?

 

I have it, but can't claim to be active.

 

More than likely gonna start Sunday.

If you are on the fence atm Ajax, wait until they add more multi player features. Seems right now we can fly around but there is no official way to group together besides saying "Hey target ship X and blow it up." or "Hey lets meet at system XYZ and mine from space rocks"

From what I have gathered there is supposed to be a pretty big multiplayer update coming soon. Possibly as soon as this month.

 

My card keeps getting denied when I try to buy this! Apparently my bank thinks anything out side of the USA is evil (this is not the first time this happened). Time to chew my fucking bank a new asshole tomorrow!

 

Whereabouts is this game based?

 

EU. I got it to work, had to use go though paypal. My bank thinks anything from the EU is evil. They did the same shit when I bought a copy of minecraft long ago.

 

I spent over an hr fing around with controls. Then I jumped a few systems, could not find a station, ran out of fuel and died. Thats the extent of my expirience with this game. I am not liking flight controls as all.
