I need your WarThunder video!

I would like to make a video to promote the WarThunder division of NNG. I need any and all game play you have recorded. The easy was to send me you data/video is to upload it to youtube where I can download it to my computer and edit it. If you want to edit your own video thats fine, but your welcome to put up anything and I am happy to edit it for you.

Will differing dimensions be an issue? I'm sure not everyone plays, let alone records in the same resolution.

Should sound be captured in the vid as well? Not recording the sounds with the video cuts down file size... But having the sounds can help the clips be more compelling.

Also, can you speak with Doomforge about either using the logo he came up with a while back (I'll post it below if I can find it), or perhaps to whip up a new one.


To everyone else, let us know if you're interested in starting to record if you dont already. There are a few good programs out there you can use.

Also, if you didnt record a great moment live while playing, remember there are replays the game saves that you can load up and then record that moment from any angle you like

I LOVE these logos, but there is the small problem of them not useing the NNG font.

 

So I'm uploading a clip for you now. Also sorting through about 2 months of clips I've recorded. There's bound to be something good in there.

But there are 2 problems with alot of my stuff.

1. Alot of my clips have people in TS talking on them.
2. Alot of the clips without TS chatter has music I was listening to at the time on them.

If there is a way to set Afterburner to record ONLY the game sounds, I'd be ever so happy. If anyone knows how, please teach me.

 

Can you record from your own replays?
That wouldn't have any sound other than whats in the game and enemy planes wont have red tags. I think that the best way to do this is to send Sarg the actual replays of arcade games so he can record it for himself through War Thunder.
Did I explain it correctly or should I clarify what I mean by that?

 

As for me, I do not need sound in the videos. I turn off the sound for the video. When I want a sound, I take it from a recording of the real thing. It makes the video feel more real. I learned that from Star Wars (Sound in space?)

I get what you're saying. I record most of my stuff live, as I'm playing. I could (and have) recorded from replays, but alot of the stuff that would have been really worth recording that way are long gone. I do like your idea of sending the replay file to him directly as well. Never tired that.
