Really good video on Youtubes Geek Week. I still remember my family sitting down together in my room when the NES first came out (I was about 5 or 6 I think). We'd play Mario Bros, Archenoid, Legend of Zelda (well mostly watching me play) and my mother schooling all of us in Dr. Mario. Those were always good times. I made a lot of friends in college w/ Super Smash Bros Really enjoying Geek Week.
WTF was it about moms and Dr. Mario? To this day I still make sure she has a snes emulator with it on her laptop so she can play it. She is so ridiculously good at it.....
wtf yours too?! My mother would just bolt right through the levels and reach ones we never seen before. She's very into puzzles, and I can never beat her in Words with Friends
My mom forced herself to stop playing beacuse she would spend so much time on those games i think that they were more addicting for her than planetside and things like that
My mother can barely facebook, my father is one of those old people games though, into armas and the like.
My mom loved Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (and all the Sonic game really) because Sega does what Nintendon't.
When Raven Shield was in full force so many years ago, A4D was my home A4D MAro, we had one of our members pass away suddenly from an aneurysm. He left behind his wife and two daughters. A4D as a group created a tournament called the Mac Daddy tourney, for A4D Macdaddy's family. We had over 300 8 man squads and raised over $15k for his family. PLaced in an annuity today is worth over 50k. So gaming family's do care and do help in the real word as well.
