Joining the Outfit

I have been a member of NNG on the BF3 side for a while, and I just recently decided to give Planetside 2 a try. My question is, do I need to fill out an application to join the PS2 division, like I did when I joined the BF3 division?

I've only logged a couple of hours in-game so far, and I'm still in the process of learning the nuances of the game. My name in PS2 is digit4lgh0st, and I sent Jaamaw a friend request (I think he accepted). I've seen a few NNG guys online, but I'm still learning the in-game comms and wasn't able to speak to anyone.

Anyway, thank for the help in advance, and if necessary I'd be happy to fill out an application to join the Outfit.

 

Use team speak. We rarely use in-game comms

And once you're a NNG member, you don't have to apply again

 

Do I have to be invited in-game? When I clicked on the Outfits tab in the Social window my only option was to create an outfit.

 

Welcome to the game, just a few pro tips:
1. There are a lot of inside jokes
2. We like pews
3. Strikers are retarded
4. All of our weapons suck
5. Kill the Smurfs and elmos

 

LOL thanks for the heads up. I do at least know what Smufs and Elmos are so I don't feel like a complete noob...my main issue right now is trying to decide what to spend my certs on. I only have 49, and I've been hoarding them because I don't know what to use them on...

 

But seriously, at almost any time there will be someone on TS to help you out and give you advice (With the probable exception of tonight/today)

 

What class are you playing?
