In game comms is the subject, not TS. Might want to consider raising the in game volume for both Squad and Platoon chat. Serg I have no problem hearing from my neighbors house.:) but last night an issue could have been avoided by being able to hear what was going on. When we break up into diff TS channels this becomes an issue. Suggestions are welcomed

My bad, I didn't realize that we were doing ops till later.
Long story short, when I logged on we were switching to Esamir for the alert and since there was a queue Husla asked me to take care of the Alpha squad and shortly after Jam had to log so he gave me the platoon so there was a period of time when I was leading squad, I was actually leading the platoon.
And yes, in game comms are a must!

Last night (8/27) my keybinding for platoon chat went haywire. When I pushed platoon chat, I would talk in squad. I attempted to reset the bind but it did not help. I attempted to turn my chat on and off but it did not seem to help. After a short time, it fixed itself. Also, everytime I log in, my transmit volume is different, I always reset it to a higher volume. My wife and kids sleep in the next room when I play so I usually talk in a soft voice, so I turn my transmit volume up to 80, unless I am told I am asked to turn it down.

Thank you for commenting but I know the direction I intended and it was for the group NOT the individual. I do not call out individuals on the forums that it reserved for PM's if I or we have a disagreement.

as a little suggestion, can we please start looking at the text chat, ESPECIALLY since the new comm guidelines are going for stricter comms. could we assign one person in the squad to just keep an eye on it? i've seen people type things in, ie Sundie to the west, and then sometimes 10 minutes will go by before a Mic'd member will go "oh hey, there's a Sundie to the west." and THEN people will respond. remember, ps2 will default you to platoon tab if you don't select otherwise, thus YOU WILL NOT SEE squad or outfit messages. i wish there was a separate tab for yell, so you could view all three types [squad, platoon, and outfit] without the clutter, but you can't. so i would advise SL's having Platoon chat open, and the rest of the squad stick to the Squad chat tab. you can always flick back and forth if you're that curious. also i'd like to remind people that when someone types something in, they're stopping their game to relay that info, which will probably get them killed in the process. on the other hand, people may have to have both hands on deck when you ask them something, and to give them time to get to a spot to reply. that's just my two cents, though. most of the people here have mics, so there's a lot of overlap in spotting targets. things rarely go unspotted or dealt with. just in case, though.
