Staying away from Deathstars

I would like you ask everyone to stay the fuck away from B17s, 24s, G8s and shit like that.
The entire SB community is raging about this big balancing issue and RB community is not too far behind. These bombers should be fixed next patch, until than please stay away from them. It makes us look bad. Plain and simple.

I cant tell you guys what to fly or what not to fly, but when it comes down to exploiting a broken game mechanic, I'm totally against it.
Deathstars in their current stay are broken. They totally destroy gameplay for lots of pilots and devs are taking their sweet ass time with fixing them.

 

This is one of the reasons why i've nerver even researched the b-17's g-8's even thought i have almost all american jet's they are just not fun to fly and getting kills with them is not satisfying at all. i'd rather fight a f-86 on a 162 than fight a b-17 currently.

 

Never flown one...probably never will, unless they add cockpits and gun stations....then mayyyybe.

 

TG929 has a very honorabu method for dealing with the bomber scurge. Very effective...... If you have others left. Or the bomber has just pissed you off and you want him dead.

Also most bombers don't do well in head on gun passes, especially b17s. Big thing is don't try to creep up on a bomber and try to hose it down from behind. You'll get your plane blacked or your engine shot up trying that tactic. Keep you're energy up and BnZ it, from the sides if possible. Slower, but you'll survive.

 

Head on is the best way to take out bombers. Biggest problem is if you cut off their wing, the gunners will still be alive and will start firing. If you get a Pilot Sniped, than they wont. This is where the FM comes into play because B17s can roll, turn accelerate just like the fighters do.

 

You can add A-20's to that list, we flew a match the other night where 3 were flying in formation and their gunners were cutting everyone down, I ended up ramming the last plane in order to take it down. Hey a wins a win.. right?

 

shot down a B-17 last night with Schwalbe. He didn't even see it coming.....best teamkill and 45000 lions ever spent.
