Tagging Users in Threads

    You can tag users in threads by typing an @ before their username. As you type @ followed by the first letters of the user's name an auto-complete drop down will appear allowing you to select the appropriate user.

    That is especially helpful if you don't know a particular user's exact spelling.

    When a user is tagged they will will receive an alert with a link to the thread they've been tagged in.

    in the last few forum skins, when we used the @ to tag someone, it would remove the @ once you selected their name. Now, the @ remains and we see @usernamehere, instead of just usernamehere. The old way looked much more clean. I dont know if it's able to be how it was in this new version, but would be cool if you can look into it :)

    Yeah we used to have it working through an addon. Now it's built right into Xenforo so they changed it a bit. I agree it looked better in the past though.
