I propose late in the night on Saturday that we sneak away from the front lines and do some practice!

We are the Flying Farts! (Name may change without prior notice and is not legal in some states)

    We shall:

Learn how to put 3 Galaxies on one roof at high speed! (I am thinking this should be called "the Platoon Poop")
Learn how to do bombing runs with 3 Libs and 4 scythes! (Our air squad)
Learn how to "Circle the Wagons" and do a proper CAP (Combat Air Patrol).

We will fly Galaxies in tight formation!
We will fly Libs in even tighter formations (because they are smaller then Galaxies and can get closer- and who cares if you rub up against a Lib, it might be kinky).
We will do practice bombing runs!!!

Should train in the art of crashing Galaxy's into enemy armor. It's quite beautiful, I must say.

EDIT: OH! And make sure you crash your Galaxy when it's full of passengers. Ejecting is optional, though not recommended. (More bodies = more random bits to fly around and hit people)

There is nothing more in this world of gaming that pisses me off more than some jackwagon ramming, mad because he lacks enough skill to kill any other way. I'll let you kill me all day, but don't fucking ram me. I know accidents happen; by the 4th ram from the same person you can tell it's obviously not an accident.

Hmm that does sound like a good idea and would be good to know. Would raise the chances of quickly turning the tide and hitting like a brick.

Most of the subdivisions could benefit from similar practices as well.

Sorry Phragg. Definately know where you stand on people going Kamikaze :P And we all should know I don't ACTUALLY condone any waste of aerospace resources. I feel you would have a better opinion about those kamikaze pilots though if you were to fly a Liberator or Galaxy, as I tend to purposefully make it easy for the enemy to do their kamikaze manuever, because when it comes to a bump in the sky, the biggest always wins.

I do have to feel sorry though for that one Prowler I crashed the abandoned Galaxy into. Still dunno why the hell someone would leave a PERFECTLY usable transport like that.. but.. well.. No one else wanted to fly it.. no one wanted to hop in it either. I couldn't just let it waste away in 20 minutes... but with no one to pick up, I.... I had to do something...

EDIT: In seriousness though, it would be nice to have a well oiled airforce that we're able to mobilize and dominate the skies, because in all honesty, one of the biggest counters/problems we've seen as a platoon in PS2 was an overwhelming number of enemy air. Yes we have plenty of people enjoy to grab their AA, but as it's been said a few times, The best way to counter air, is have more air. I know we have plenty of ace pilots, and plenty of people good enough to get the job done, but getting them to work together as one solid force rather than flying solo, would surely help a lot.

I'd also be interested in showing up for any of these practices or just simply trying to join in with you guys, as I have quite a bit of fun filling any role in game. :)
